Yeah, it was the end of this month unless more time is needed.

Aricos and anyone else: Thanks for your understanding and feedback. I believe everything will be pretty clear as soon as I can get some information up.
As far as audition deadlines, what I wanted to try to do was focus on filling the roles that are going to be needed for production first (like the first two chapters, which I posted earlier) and then do rolling deadlines for later chapters to give more people a chance to pitch in.
I know, again, it sounds complicated, but it will be very clear once I have an official place to post the information (hoping Tom will let us have a separate forum just for this stuff) and if ANYONE has any concerns about how things are going, or questions, PLEASE ask like Aricos did... my intention (and Sand's too) is to just try to help to make this as fun and exciting for everyone, so if you aren't having fun or aren't excited, -let us know- and I promise we'll address it!

If we could we would definitely bake everyone cookies, if only to increase the fun level.

Miri - I watched your Jones audition. I thought it was quite good. Casey and sandjosieph - Thanks for working hard to get this thing organized. That is a pretty cool thing of y'all to do.
But daaaang, I broke my mic when I unplugged it today. Thankfully I've already uploaded 2 videos of the two characters I'm interested in playing. No more for me!
I decided to do my own version of the scene that uskuri recorded, and I think it'd be a good idea for anyone else interested in playing Coyote to do the same scenes because they show both the maniacal and the calmer side of Coyote. Gosh, his laughing hurt my throat.
So yeah, check that out if you can!

I just heard. Coyote sounds really creepy. I'll have to think of a melody that fits it.

A tip I picked up the other day, for those who are having mic problems.
Do you own Rock Band? Poof, instant USB microphone!
Hope that helps someone!

I was listening to your Coyote audition, xanbcoo, and I have to say I'm a big fan. Yours is so much different than mine I'm have difficulty comparing the two. Playing up the creepy aspect to that extent isn't how I would take it (and I clearly haven't), but I can't deny that it works. I might play around with a Coyote audition of my own that is a bit creepier than my original, if nothing else to just see how well I can pull it off. What can I say, you've inspired me!

Coyote doesn't speak until chapter 14, so you should have some time to refine your performances. Another advantage to rolling auditions... more time to perfect the later parts!

Update on my planned Ali audition: How would you guys feel if I had "10 years-So long goodbye" playing in the background of the VERY last scene (when he's turning into a bird)? I heard it on the radio yesterday and was thinking "It would be horrible to have this playing in the backgound of ali's "bird morphing" scene. Here are the lyriks: www.smartlyrics.com/Song647418-10-Years-So-Long-Good-Bye-lyrics.aspx

First of all: TOM I LOVE YOU! Thank you for giving us our own forum for the fan project!!
Second of all: I would recommend (and it's up to all you guys) immediately discontinuing using this particular thread for discussion. What I'm going to do in the next hour or so is start a couple new threads to spread out the conversation by topic so it's easier for all of you to find the information you're looking for. By all means continue doing whatever you feel inspired to do, and if anyone has any feedback or criticism on how things are organized, PLEASE speak up because this is for all of you, not for me, so help me make it better for all of you!

Yes, Thank You Tom!
I'll start up an auditions thread, when I get the chance. I'm currently posting from work (don't tell anyone...)
EDIT: I got ninja'd on the Auditions thread. I was also surprised to find out Tom used my user name to make the announcement. Cool!

Assuming this is still going, I'd like to offer my services. I don't think I have the best of natural voices for this sort of work, but what I CAN offer is variety and a hint of spice.
I'm 20, almost 21, male, australian with a british/australian accent (IE not a broad occa one). I can twist my voice slightly, but I'm not stellar at putting on airs or accents. I have a fairly deep voice, so I would probably fit best either in the roles of Mr Donlan or Andrew Smith.
Given neither of these characters have particularly extensive dialogue, I'd be interested in suggestions as to what passages or such I could use for auditioning.

Welcome, and let me direct you to the Audition thread at this link. This thread you've posted in is sort of the old, dead thread... on the new thread I linked you'll find all the information for auditions, including how to submit an audition. I think you should go for it if you're interested... none of us is a professional at this (to my knowledge). Donald Donlan actually does have a fair number of lines, for example, in the chapter Questions and Answers (link). Hope to see you in the other thread!

Reading over some old pages for the fan-project, something occurred to me. Had Annie ever actually told Robot her name prior to sending him into the forest? And if not... How did Robot know to call 'Antimony Carver' when he returned? If I'm just reading too much into this, feel free to tell me so. It was just a minor thing that jumped out at me suddenly. That's a mistake that I thought I had corrected. The correct line, which can be found in the book, is "Hello there my friend". Thanks for pointing it out. This is straight from Tom, in the Q&A thread... Just thought I should bring it up to whoever's compiling the scripts.

Thanks Fuzzyone.
If at all possible though, I'd like to let this thread die since it is a jumble of a lot of stuff. There's a general questions and answers thread now. Perhaps I should ask Tom if he'd lock this thread, for good housekeeping.
