After I finish getting the raw info down in the first thread, I'm going to start linking in all the existing auditions from the Youtube site. I'll post again down here to let you guys know when that is done. IF I MISS ANYONE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I definitely don't want to cause someone to miss the audition!!

Is it ok if I just upload the audtion to regular, white bread, vanilla pudding youtube and just put the URL in this thread? I really don't feel like messing with PM's and passwords and stuff. If I have to, I'll dea l with them, but only if I absolutely have to.

That is perfectly fine... whatever works for everyone, all I need is a link to stick in the first post.
Also, I'm starting to add the links in that post now, so you guys might want to have a look at how I'm doing it, see if you like the format.

Casey, you are pretty dang awesome. Also, would you like me to put the URL of my last two auditions in the new thread. (And where exactly is this new thread? Do you have it up yet?) You're posting in it. The idea is simple: Casey will link all the existing auditions from the old thread and put them in the first post of this thread. If you didn't upload your audition to the joint GKCFP youtube account, let Casey know so he can include it in the first post of this thread. For anyone who wants to upload an audition, do it in this thread. It will be added to the first post later. This makes it easier to keep track of all the auditions for consideration. Instead of having them scattered throughout the thread, they're all readily accessible in the first post.

This IS the new thread, hehe! I'm in the process of copying all the pre-today auditions to this thread by going on the Youtube page and linking them in. I will post down here to let you all know when I've finished that (the formatting is a LOT of work) so if I post down here saying I'm done, and you see something missing from the list in the first post, please let me know! In the meantime, people should feel free to post links to their auditions in this thread. Once I've completed transcribing the auditions from the Youtube page I'll look in this thread from then on for new links to add to the first post. EDIT: err yes! Exactly what Xan said while I was typing this post.

Also, I noticed you have some of the roles in the first post starred. Are those just to denote roles with only a few speaking lines?
I would also suggest not having the first post not too link-heavy. We don't want people to get overwhelmed.
I had forgotten about the "Evil Spanish Clown". I'm actually fluent in Spanish, so I can totally take care of that if no one else wants to.
Of course, if you want to, go right ahead and audition!

Yes Xan, see Note #8 in the first post (That's what I'll get in the habit of doing... referring folks to the "information post".)

Hey, I just wanted to drop off a quick note down here to say that I'm still working on transcribing the Youtube Channel auditions to this thread. It is possible that I won't finish today, so don't panic yet if you don't see yours there! I will still post here to say when I'm done transcribing, so after that time if you still see something missing, that would be the time to let me know.
I also wanted to mention something of a more stylistic concern. I posted separate roles for Sivo and Reynardine even though it's really Reynardine in Sivo's body. The reason I did this is because I figured that when using another body, Renard is using that body's vocal cords etc, and therefore his voice would sound different. What do YOU guys think about that?
I am, however, posting the auditions that include both Sivo-Renard and Plushie-Renard under BOTH Sivo's and Reynardine's character page entries, just to make sure that everyone sees them regardless of which character name they look at.

Yikes!... When you said organizing was your idea of fun, you actually meant you love it to itty-bitty bits . Wow, kudos for your awesome organizing skills ! p13volution, your Basil is hilarious! Do you suppose you could try deepening the 'blaaaaah!!!' at the start ? It doesn't quite as intimidating as the text suggests . Also, the 'whoopsie' sounds so silly ! However, it might be just a -bit- over the top :x. By the way, apart from Kat, I've also done a boxbot. But there are 3 versions of them and Casey, I don't know how this fits in the scheme :x. So uh, how I mine for fish? Original Boxbot voice, unfiltered: www.mediafire.com/download.php?zz5j0nmkzzqBoxbot, Acherus' terrible robot filter 1: www.mediafire.com/download.php?yyiyyvojjgt Boxbot, Acherus' terrible robot filter 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE0abKwtC6Y&feature=channel_page

With a minefishing polepick!
Thanks for your compliment... it's a fair amount of work (if you want to see the level of coding beneath the surface, hit the "quote" button on the first post (not that I recommend -actually- quoting that whole monstrosity)) but once everything's copied over from YouTube, maintaining it will be a cinch. It's pretty easy to add new auditions.
As an example (and to illustrate what happens when a person has multiple auditions) I went ahead and added your three entries to the Boxbot character. And if a person had multiple entries and only wanted one or some of them to show, I can easily remove the link.

Wow, this is awesome! I am currently eating my shoes for being a sourpuss earlier in the project thread! The soles taste real good, crunchy! Anyway I sheepishly present an attempt at Anja, with heavy accent. It's a bit lame, especially towards the end, but it was fun to do. www.speedyshare.com/215833654.html

Do you suppose you could try deepening the 'blaaaaah!!!' at the start ? It doesn't quite as intimidating as the text suggests . Also, the 'whoopsie' sounds so silly ! However, it might be just a -bit- over the top :x. I suppose I could deepen the roar (or whatever it is)... But my mike doesn't seem to register the difference. I could have done it with a program, but I try to keep electronic augmentation out of my auditions. It makes me feel better to know that its all my real voice. The "whoopsie" is my favorite part. Could you really do that without being silly? Its too hard I tell you! Too bad Youtube cut it off. Just added my Reynardine (All forms) Audition to the Youtube page. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CWeINvO290I'm not really happy with my Sivo-Reynardine, but the rest I think I'm pretty happy with.

Word of Tom has already covered this, I believe. (from the wiki gunnerkrigg.wikia.com/wiki/Word_of_Tom:_Reynardine) Take from it what you may. Personally I think it could go either way and be successful so long as the two actors work together to maintain similar mannerisms and speech patterns.

Oh my Goodness, p13volution's Basil the Minotaur was hilarious. That is the voice I will hear in my head when I read that character from now on. The "Whooopsiieeeee" honestly made me laugh out loud.
Also, I only just now listened to Acherus' Robot voice. It too is absolutely perfect. A poor man's C-3PO
You people are producing some real gems.

Actually, the Robot voice posted by Acherus was mine. Acherus just tweaked it to add the robot echo. And I am very thankful for that.
Also, My POV on the Reynard's voice thing... I wasn't aware of the Word of Tom on that particular topic, as I don't spend time perusing the wiki. It should be obvious what my own thoughts on Reynard's voice are, from my audition. Still, in my mind, and when I do the voices, There ARE some similarities... However, In my mind, Sivo's voice would be much deeper, just from body size. When he's the toy, the smaller body and mouth would, theoretically, produce a higher pitched sound, but, at the same time, I try to incorporate elements, such as the minor rasp. I haven't given an example of his Wolf form yet, but it's... Similar to Plush Rey in pitch, but slightly deeper, and with less rasp.
When Reynard is a Wolf, his speech seems more... dignified. As a toy, he seems more snarky, more emotional. Those are my thoughts on it. I could try and come up with a voice that's more common between the forms if necessary.

Hi guys, here's a couple of notes. I've been away for the last 7 hours and now I'm going to go sleep for about 7 hours. Then it's back to adding in the remaining auditions from the YouTube page. THEN I'm going to scour this thread and look for any auditions that have been posted here in the meantime. So go ahead and submit new ones if you like, just don't worry if they don't show up right away.
Based on the comments you guys have left and the information from Tom about Sivo's voice, I agree with you all that Sivo should be voiced by the same person as Reynardine (with some modulation or what have you). Therefore I'm removing Sivo as a separate character. This also makes it easier for me, since each "Sivo" entry was just a portion of the "Reynardine" entry anyhow.
I did figure that the Acherus Robot was Acherus modulating FuzzyOne's performance, so I only posted the latter.
So anyway, for now just keep in mind that I am still catching up... no need to remind about missing anything just yet, but I'll let you know when I "think" I'm caught up. And do help me if I miss anything in formatting or anything else, because I'm human and this is a lot of work so I appreciate any heads-up you can give me!
BTW for our British friends... I'm in Central Time which is 6 hours behind GMT. So you guys are probably having breakfast as I'm going to bed! See you all tomorrow!

I'm liking your Zimmy, Meagan, but is there any chance you could cultivate a Birmingham accent for her? A good tip is to speak using the bottom of your mouth, and imagine all the muscles in your face have gone slack. A pronunciation guide is here---> www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A496352

I guess I could do the "Evil Spanish Clown". How should it sound? Also, should it be a Spanish (from Spain) accent, or a Latin American accent?
