How come my auditions aren't up in the list yet?

Because, reyo, as I keep saying in all my posts, I'm still working on it! I'm actually posting now to say that I believe I've finished copying all the auditions from the GKCFanProject YouTube page, and NOW I can begin to scour through the original, 14-page thread for any submissions that weren't on the above page. That will include yours, reyo... not to worry! This work takes a lot of time, there's a lot of formatting involved in the post and finding the pages that the material is from, etc. It's a tough process. EDIT: I've now finished adding all the auditions I could find on the Youtube page, and in the original GKCFP thread. Now I'm going to see if I missed any already posted in this thread, and I'm DONE! (until another audition is posted that is!) Edit2: At this point, the first post in this thread should be FULLY UPDATED to include every audition that has been submitted thus far. Please help me out by checking over the list and seeing if I am missing anything! (I also don't mind being notified of any formatting errors... I miss a colon here and there sometimes.) Now we need to get MORE PEOPLE to POST THEIR AUDITIONS! Keeping the master list maintained from here on out should be pretty easy for me, after the last 24 hours of catch-up work. I think we'd all like to see more talent! There were a fair number of people who had posted in the original thread saying they were interested in the project but who weren't sure how they could participate. I hope that those people come back around to the forums and get re-inspired! Please ask any question you might have about the process and how YOU can get involved!

Thanks, Deliciouscake! I've added these three auditions to the master list. I had no problems with the volume in the auditions.

reyo, the most helpful thing we could all do at this point is find more victi--err, volunteers, I mean, to upload auditions and participate in the project! Got any other friends who are aspiring vocal actors? Send them over here! (Obviously being a fan of GKC is a big plus too, haha)

I threw a video of my own up on the Youtube channel... my first video submission ever! It was for the bit part of the Sleepy Mythology Teacher and it can be found here. Lemme know what you think!

Nice...
Also, I managed to get both of the first two chapters' scripts done. Hopefully I can get more up soon.

(Obviously being a fan of GKC is a big plus too, haha) I did tell this one girl about this project a few days ago, but I'm not sure if she's been here yet. You can hear evidence of it in my very first audition (it was for Mort I believe), but other than that, I'm trying. PS, just listened to your "sleepy mythology teacher" audition. You're a dude?!

You have a good sounding voice, Casey. Your mythology teacher was excellent, but I think you'd be right at home doing a more important character, like Eglamore or Reynardine as well. Don't sell yourself short, man.
deliciouscake, your Janet was really really good as well. I liked your Antimony, but I never imagined her with such a posh sounding accent. I think you'd do really well as her if you lowered your voice a few pitches.

I guess I could do the "Evil Spanish Clown". How should it sound? Also, should it be a Spanish (from Spain) accent, or a Latin American accent? Man, if you're going to do this you've got some competition! I tried out my "evil clown" voice. I'd love to hear what yours would sound like. Also, to semi-answer your question, I gave mine a Spanish Spanish accent. "Pattthhhhh...Me loth daraaaathhh?"

I'm having some speaker trouble, so if anyone could tell me how difficult/easy these are to hear, that would be awesome I could hear them, but I did have to turn the volume of my speakers all the way up (I don't think it's a big problem though as there is bound to be someone who can mess about with that should you get a role ). There is a bit of "breathing in the mic" thing that I hear. This thread has some tips on how to reduce that . I think your Janet and Antimony were pretty good . I'm not too fond of your Gamma though, your accent sounds somewhat unnatural :/. I threw a video of my own up on the Youtube channel... my first video submission ever! It was for the bit part of the Sleepy Mythology Teacher and it can be found here. Lemme know what you think! zzzZZZzzz.... whu? Oh hey, audition! That was very sleep inducing, very spot on for the character! At the bits where you go to a next textbubble, it does seem like you're rushing, but that probably goes away when the audio editing is done .

reyo: added to master list. I thought it was great! I still think that your voice sounds a lot like how I'd picture the character. Especially in the part where Aly and Kat are just talking about music, movies, etc. I get that you're maybe not so comfortable with the lovey parts, but I think you can do it! (I read through the chapter and I didn't think that Aly had any REALLY sappy parts...)

(I read through the chapter and I didn't think that Aly had any REALLY sappy parts...) Eh, it's just that it's too awkward to be talking like that (inderectly) to an imaginary character. Do you know if there are any auditions for Kat at those scenes that would make the scene less awkward? If I had another voice to bounce mine off of, not only would the audition sound better but I'd be more willing to do it which would cause my acting to be better. And you know what the ironic thing is about this whole mess? Aly actually looks like me (hair wise.) When I saw him I was like "OH SHI-"

well of course once it comes time to actually record for production, yeah there will be an opportunity to actually hear the other actors.

Hey folks, guess what? It's Saturday! And what does that mean?
It means there are now only TWO WEEKS left to submit auditions for the first two chapters!
There are three female main characters to be decided upon, so if you're female (or extremely vocally talented) and you want to audition for ANNIE, KAT, OR ANJA, then the clock is ticking! Don't miss out, get those submissions in soon!

Got an audition of Eglamore here that I'll put up and link to when I get the YouTube password. I thoght I'd go for a character nearer my own voice before I try for 'Crazy Dog-God'. Edit: Here it is! www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8rISP-Jc_Q Enjoy! Try to see/hear through the fuzz, please. Also, I think I pronounced Rogat Orjak wrong.

I've just got to ask, does everyone here think that Coyote's laugh has to be over the top enough to where kids in China hear it? My take on it is that it's supposed to have just a HINT of crazy.

I think it depends on the situation. His laugh while he was receiving the "spankies" probably sounds different than when he's just laughing for the heck of it.

I know it only says 'Hahahahahaha' but I still can't help thinking Coyote's laugh would sound like a hyena.

Ulysses, your audition has been added to the master list, thanks!
I'm willing to bet that we'll be able to figure out some of what's causing your mic problems as time goes by, so don't fret about it at this point.

Yes, I thought I might try to help you with the settings... but alas, I know 0 about Vista.
