Post your kudos, praises, and artist-worship here! Gunnerkrigg Court is easily one of the best comics on the web, agreed?

Absolutely.
I haven't seen another that has such a nearly perfect combination of artistic skill, storytelling, suspense, heartwarming moments, fantastic character development, really likeable and inspiring characters, excellent handling of loose ends (subplots are handled exceptionally well with the chapter format), and an overall positive feel. All delivered with professionality and restraint. Oh, and did I mention suspense? ;P
Gunnerkrigg Court blows away anything big firms like Marvel Comics have ever produced, in my opinion.
Tom has mentioned in one of his interviews a dream of making an animated movie series. I for one would be thrilled beyond words if that were to happen. Anyone have any ideas how we as a "community" could help make that happen, perhaps a la the "Snakes on a Plane" internet sensation? We would have the advantage of incomparably better material to promote! (It might be better to post responses to this question in a seperate thread to avoid cluttering this one) .... Oh, and hopefully Tom's head will not swell excessively due to all the praise he's getting ... that would likely affect the comic in negative ways... though I'm gessing he's too mature for that.

I think we should all use a red-hot poker to write "Gunnerkrigg Court" on our butts, then sit on a scanner and email it to Tom.
That's how great this comic is.

Gunnerkrigg court is better than Questionable Content! Thats a bit of a strech since they both fall under different genres. But this is a truly original comic and I wouldn't be posting here if I didn't think that. Keep on pumping out the goodness.

This comic is not only well drawn, alot of marvel and DC comics are too, (GC is better), but the plot is so amzing. It is tops of any comic I have read.

Gunnerkrigg court is better than Questionable Content! I don't even have QC in my bookmarks, though I have read it a few times. Some of my favorite comics have retired recently (Narbonic and Concerned) so I've got room in my daily schedule, so maybe I'll check QC out and see if it's worth the add. Right now, I've got: Megatokyo Giant in the Playground (Order of the Stick and Erfworld) Goats Scary-Go-Round Gunnerkrigg Court Dr. McNinja Penny Arcade PVP Applegeeks Ctrl-Alt-Del Gunnerkrigg compares favorably to Order of the Stick, Goats, Scary-Go-Round, Narbonic, and Megatokyo in the story-telling department. Siddell's work is as easily as good as Gallagher's work (on Megatokyo) and Noguchi's work (on Erfworld) in the art department. And while it doesn't have the laugh-out-loud lunacy of Order of the Stick, Goats or Dr. McNinja, Gunnerkrigg really isn't that kind of comic anyway (though the Dr. Disaster storyline shows that Siddell can write for laughs too). I'd hestitate to rank those comics because they represent several different styles and it'd probably just provoke an endless (and meaningless) apples and oranges debate. But it's enough to say that Gunnerkrigg ranks up there with the best the web has to offer. Megatokyo, Goats, Scary-Go-Round, Order of the Stick, Narbonic, etc... that's pretty heady company to be in. Suffice to say that the Court is unique in that it consistently delivers a quality and enjoyable reading experience. Kudos!

Just pointing out I love this comic, the artwork is great as is the story it tells.
Enigma's abound which I think over, well done to Tom for it all.

Why not just get a tattoo of some alchemy symbols, they're pretty cool-looking, and you could just go "Oh, they're symbols for, like gold and magic and stuff" instead of "Oh, I got this tattoo because I loved a webcomic so much."

I'd go for a tatoo if Tom designed us one. Hear this, Tom? Here's a chance to have people willingly inflict pain to themselves in homage to you! If you do it, pretty soon people will be offering you their first-borns. Anyway, here's what I think would make a cool tattoo: the little wolf-doll (currently inhabited by Reynardine) with the Antimony symbol on his forehead. This would be doubly great as if someone uninitiated sees it you just say "it symbolizes the wild spirit of man. Wanna see what that means? *winkwink*

I want Gunnerkrigg merchandise, a little stuffed wolf, and an Antimony pendant... Hell, what am I saying, I've got a forge and some stirling silver, who wants a pendant?
Edit: I jest, I wouldn't feel right wearing one of these myself, but I might make one and send it to Tom,
