More kudos for #220! Every single panel is brimming with sheer awesomeness!
And panel 5 has got to be my most favorite pic of Annie ever.

I actuallly reallly liked the first panel. The sense of speed is very apparent and the perspective is awesome. Anyway, the blushing Annie on 215 is better, in my not very honest, but very loud opinion.

I think the whole chapter has been especially beautiful. Reynardine is just awesome and Annie's the cutest she's ever been! The only thing that could make it even better is Eglamore! What? Me and Kat can hope!
Kudos kudos kudos!

Hey, you know what would be fun?
Not exactly a game, but more of a virtual world Gunnerkrigg. You know, make your own character, run around, try not to get caught breaking the rules...

Gunnerkrigg Court: The MMO:
Choose from many exciting classes like Dragonslayer PE teacher, Sorceress Science Teacher and Demonic Ragdoll, and go explore the wonderful world of Gunnerkrigg Court! Go to class, do your homework and try not to get detentions or be killed by the various dangerous supernatural entities on the school grounds. Current level cap at year 11, a sixth form expansion is on the horizon.

Hullo, new here.
I just wanted to say that in a few short hours of reading (and re-reading) GC, it's become a permanent slot on my long list of regularly-checked webcomics. Being the webcomic geek that I am, I had almost run out of patience trying to find artistically stimulating and plot-ful (which isn't really a word, but oh well) comics that I hadn't already discovered, but GC really fit the bill. I actually remember reading Tom's guest comic at Scary Go Round and wondering who the genius was behind that, but in my haste, I must have missed the little url at the bottom corner. Poor fool, I. Happily, I managed to blunder my own way here, and I'm quite pleased that I have.
Oh, and I apologise if my wording sounds a little strange, or uh, kind of like a really dramatic fantasy novel. I have a tendency to pick up the style of speech of whatever I'm reading or whomever I'm talking to, and I've been reading a lot of really dramatic fantasy novels lately. Heh.
Um, so yes. Fantastic comic, keep up the good work, and... Happy Wednesday!

I came over from Sam and Fuzzy a couple weeks ago when Mr. Logan linked here, so this is my first post. ... Be gentile.
I've nary had time fly by as it did when I was reading through the archives of Gunnerkrigg Court, and I definitely enjoyed the time I spent. This is about as endearing a story as I would ever have thought possible to convey via webcomic. That said, if you were so inclined, you could definitely argue the "possible to convey via webcomic" part. This is a great story to read through in one sitting, but in semi-weekly installments it crawls. Having to wait two or more days between every "page" of the "graphic novel" is grueling in comparison to reading it in one go. It makes me kind of want to skip chapters like the current Kat/Aly one, which isn't really fair to the story, because they're perfectly valid tangents. But despite its drawbacks, I don't think there's really a better solution. What else could be done, every month posting one chapter? Yeah right, nobody would remember the url across that time gap.
Anyway, that's the only thing eating me about Gunnerkrigg Court. Hopefully I'll get used to it. The comic itself is great -- the art, the story, it's all rock solid. And this is the only webcomic I've seriously considered buying the book for.

While Kat's make up was terrifying it looked very realistic--not in a she looked like a real person-person but in that, well make up DOES that. Dubious kudos, just for making me cringe

laserpig: I kind of agree having the story drag along in tri-weekly updates can be frustrating sometimes, but for some reason I don't have that problem with GC. If you do, I think the best solution is probably waiting until there is a large number of updates ready (like a whole chapter) then read them all at once. Or wait until there is another book release and get that; I'm currently doing that with Alpha Shade (also partly because I think their site isn't very comfortable at all, especially not when compared to reading a book)

I would like to say kudos to Tom for his webcomic. I discovered it through another webcomic's forum, started to read it and went through the archives as fast as I could, because the story was getting more and more exciting and I had class in only a few hours. From then on, I followed the updates and finally decided to sign up for the forums yesterday.
Really, bravo!!

I'll do it: Kudos for Aly. Any kid who can jump that high gets auto-kudos, no matter his intent.
And welcome Laserpig, everyone here agrees with you. Sam and Fuzzy ROCKS!

Hellooo, I've been lurking around these forums a lot, and I finally got myself an account. Ya know, I've been reading this comic ever since it started out on Drunk Duck, and only now do I decide to make an account. So yeah, Tom, it's only been getting better and better, and I'm excited for what's to come. And I'm sure many people have told you this, but I want to have your manbabies. And if not, then, well... crap.

I think, GC is better than QC when you read on daily basis. QC doesn't have this well-written story. But for GC, I always wonder what happens next, looking forward to the next page.
