- Paste the code in the text box.
- Click on "Load this pack!'
- Place the .zip folder in the 'texturepacks' folder in the '.minecraft' folder. For Windows this is in "C:\Users\*insertusernamehere*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks". For Mac, (username)->Library->Application Support->minecraft->texturepacks (provided by polifrog).
- Next time you play Minecraft, select 'Mods and Texture Packs', then the new texture pack. Enjoy!
Now if you want to use the custom water and lava textures you have to download MCPatcher. The steps are a bit more complicated, remember this is optional and will replace the default minecraft textures with the new ones: - Download and run MCPatcher.
- Tick the 'Texture Pack' box, and browse for the Painterly Pack folder and choose it. Leave 'Tile Size' as 16x16.
- Click 'Patch', and afterwards 'Test Minecraft'. If it works to your pleasing, then you can close it. Enjoy!

Okay, I've found one that might work. Seed is "Winter Winds", like the Mumford and Sons track I'm listening to right now. If you cross the water heading west, there's a large plain with a few hills around the edges and one smallish hill in the middle, one or two small ponds to fill in. Not many trees, some snow to the south and west of the plain which would be destoryed in levelling anyway, some pumpkins, but otherwise a fairly large area of flat, treeless land. I'll keep looking in case I find something better.

XD If there's snow, there shouldn't be a lot of it since even though GKC does go through seasons, I'm assuming we're doing a summer/spring/early fall sort of setting. If anyone wants a pretty cool snow world with a lava spill and some cool mountains, you could do worse that try "Herodotus"; but it's no good as a seed for the GC project. I will now work through ancient Greek people until I run out of them, and then I'll do some Roman emperors or something.

"Agamemnon" works okay. If you go south east from the spawn, through the trees there's a large flat area, bordered by hills. Some snow to the east and noth of the plain, mainly on hills.

We could also try a WorldEdit to make the River Annan, and then work from there. If we worked with a resource-light map like evee, I think it'd probably be better to allow Creative mode. Were we thinking of using Mo' Creatures Mod? Currently trying to seed the world. Don't connect to the server until I've got this figured out. D:
It involves resetting the server, but since I'm using brohoster, I don't seem to have access to the folder or something? I've sent them a ticket to help, so wait a little.
