• Go here.
  
• Paste the code in the text box.
  
• Click on "Load this pack!'
  
• Place the .zip folder in the 'texturepacks' folder in the '.minecraft' folder. For Windows this is in "C:\Users\*insertusernamehere*\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks".
  
• Next time you play Minecraft, select 'Mods and Texture Packs', then the new texture pack. Enjoy!
  

Now if you want to use the custom water and lava textures you have to download MCPatcher. The steps are a bit more complicated, remember this is optional and will replace the default minecraft textures with the new ones:

• Download and run MCPatcher.
  
• Tick the 'Texture Pack' box, and browse for the Painterly Pack folder and choose it. Leave 'Tile Size' as 16x16.
  
• Click 'Patch', and afterwards 'Test Minecraft'. If it works to your pleasing, then you can close it. Enjoy!

We should've totally tried that! DX We tried Gunnerkrigg, but it was strange. Agememnon's already being worked on, soooo... it wouldn't be great to start a new seed. :<

EDIT: All plug-ins have now been implemented correctly! I'd suggest trying WorldEdit to make building processes faster. Also, a warp and spawn point have been set at the base. Set warp points for yourself and others, too, where you need them.

I'm getting terrible lag. I found the area I talked about, big and flat the other side of a forested area, and tried to create a path there from the spawn point using blocks of wood, but they vanished a few seconds after I placed them and I don't know if they'll appear for everyone else, and I couldn't get all the way back to the spawn point because the terrain didn't load. Is everyone else in the USA? Because that would explain why I'm getting bad lag and you're not, cause I'm in the UK. I'll try again later but if I can't find a way to get rid of the lag it looks like I won't be any help.

Errr, you have near-full access to your files both from your TCAdmin and via FTP. You should, BTW, periodically backup the world-folder (make sure you suspend world-saving while you do this).

Even far from the spawn I'm still getting awful lag. Last night when I tried to say something in the chat log it took up to about 8 minutes to actually appear there. I should in theory be getting up to 10MB internet, if my ISP's website is any indication, and nothing else lags (not even Minecraft in single player mode) so I don't think it's that. Maybe if any other Brits join they can tell me if they get lag and I can work out from there what's going on.
