Whuh? I'm as baffled by this page as the last one... I guess there was clues to this, but still, Jack seems like a perfectly reasonable young man, but now he's declared his love to some crazy-ass psychic (and also psycho) chick.
I mean if i were Jack, i'd totally go for the hot, magical, half-fire elemental chick instead.

I dunno Sarcasm is difficult to parse through written text but I think we can be fairly sure at this point that Jack is in no way serious about having any sort of thing for Zimmy. Annie tried to put a dent in Jack's ego with her statement last page. Jack, however, is far too savvy to let this work and turned her jab back on her tenfold by letting her think that her words had inadvertently caused him to fall for someone else. Now Annie will be forced to either let him go after another girl, or admit that she was lying and that she actually does like him. Jack is a master of teenage cunning. |
