Sweet.... Zimmy has a posse. Predicting this will drive Gamma to Annie.

I do like how Zimmy's black monstrosity-ness is leaking out onto the page.

Well, I'm not sure what to believe, but count me in with the people who hopes Jack is being serious.
That would be fun (though maybe not for Jack).

... Annie speaks polish, they were seen talking with each other incomic (telepathically too). Annie learned conversational Polish from a psychopomp. That's a far cry from fluency. Zimmy and Gamma can communicate directly into each other's minds. As can Annie and Gamma... -_- Stop nitpicking dude, Zimmy isn't the only one with whom Gamma can talk without help. Fact.

That page you linked to shows Annie demonstrating her conversational Polish skills; the brackets are there because is dialog is translated from Polish. While I wasn't really looking for love triangles involving the main characters, I feel that a love triangle with secondary characters, with one of those characters being Zimmy, would be one of the greatest things ever. So, I'm in the camp that hopes Jack is serious.

In the next page Jack will start to tell the third short story about how he spent the summer stalking Zimmy.

Meh. I hope he's screwing with her, but I doubt it. I prefer JackXAnnie.
Yeah yeah, I know, shutXup...

People are taking this seriously? Jack is SO trolling her. ZimmyxJack has been sunk twice by the author himself (ShutxUp and Not a Chance) Not to mention the whole way this panel is set up... simply to indicate the sheer ludicrousness of the suggestion.
And Annie looks VERY confused. And disappointed. This is hilarious.

Hm. I don’t know that there’s much to go on for the sake of speculation — most of our observation of Jack was during his time under the influence of an evil sentient ethereal spider. But he does seem sincere on this page, and who’s to say how his experience has affected him over the long term?
On the previous page, however, Annie seems to be joking — the sly smirk in panel two, a narrow-eyed smile in panel four that would be utterly cruel if she meant it. (Besides which, “I don’t think I like you very much” has connotations, for me at least, of dislike even beyond the romantic.) On today’s page she seems genuinely confused, even dismayed in the last two panels.
So my guess? Antimony was teasing him, but he’s nuts and infatuated with a sociopathic demon girl, who smells because she (literally?) never bathes, usually has disgusting black gunk covering her eyes, whose teeth are filed into jagged edges, and who uses psychological intimidation to ensure that the one person who genuinely cares for her doesn’t have any other social contact. Jack could probably do better. On second thought, maybe it is too ridiculous.
(It’s just a guess, though. I’ll make no bets.)

I wouldn't be so sure. That evidence certainly means that Zimmy isn't interested in Jack, but I think Jack is serious. Why? -He asked Zimmy out and has expressed interest in her again -He was rescued from the spider by Zimmy -He kept asking Annie about how he could find Zimmy -He was always kind of a crazy guy

I am confused. But I guess that's exactly the feeling those pages are trying to induce, so: Well done Tom!
And I can totally understand Jack. (Except his love for Zimmy, but who am I to tell anyone who he's supposed to love.)

Oh man, Annie's faces. And the image of Zimmy she conjures up? Priceless. I'm still laughing. I must be the only one that kinda hopes he's serious. He might be able to figure out a way to actually help Zimmy, which is something nobody but Gamma seems interested in doing. Of course, I've long believed that Zimmy and Gamma are more than friends, so he's gonna get shut down hard in the romance department. You're not. I kind of hope he's serious too. She's one of my favorite characters in GunnerKrigg and I would love to see her get some help and some love.

In the next page Jack will start to tell the third short story about how he spent the summer stalking Zimmy. ^ ;D Personally, I figure this is a win-win situation. If he's serious, it can only lead to disaster and hilarity! (With a very, very slim chance of heartwarming developments. Very slim.) And if he's not serious, then he's officially the biggest troll at Gunnerkrigg. Troll on, you crazy diamond, troll on.

Admittedly I'm not the best at keeping track of things in Gunnerkrigg, but I thought the spiders spent all their time trying to get out of Zimmy. Why would they spend the rest of the time hunting her down in the outside world? They know she can pull them back in, she is the one who saves Jack after all, so why go looking for her?

Well, we know that Jack expressed interest in Zimmy earlier. Maybe it was not the spider who wanted to get to Zimmy. The spider just made Jack smarter. So... Guys, it seems that Spring Heeled was just Jack's elaborate plan to ask Zimmy out.

Even though I would immensely enjoy it if fish's prediction of a stalker Jack story came true, I still think he's just messing with Annie.
Because Zimmy is scary, REALLY scary, not "goth girl" scary or "kind of a bully" scary. Jack being in love with her would move him from adventurous and irresponsible right into nutcase alley.

In support of the messing-with-her theory, it should be noted that Jack just plain enjoys messing with people and always has. Remember his first appearance? When he didn't tell anyone else to bring an umbrella?

Shippers no matter who they're rooting for just create unneeded drama. Tom did answer a ton of questions saying that Zimmy and Gamma are in a romantic relationship, but that it "wasn't that simple" When asked if at least one character revealed to us so far is gay he said yes. Is it possibly Zimmy, Gamma or both? Maybe.
I don't care much about the relationships in most comics. I take these as a interesting twist or a chance for a more convoluted and thus more interesting story rather than an attempt to troll myself, or any other person. You start caring about who's with who and applying what you want, and you end up going in a rage like that chibisoma did when things don't turn out right. Is this a shocker? Yep. Is my eyebrow climbing off attempting to pull a smitty? Yep. But me? I'm just along for the ride.

Going by panel 1 I think Jack is serious. Its looks like he's staring at something amazing up there. Or saying something like "Come here."
I don't think Zimmy will ever love Jack back, but who knows, she might have changed. I wonder how she and Gamma look like now. I think they love each other but not in a way that you would call them a couple. They're those type of best friends who you end up living in the same neighborhood.
