It was suggested in the discussion for 1384, but it's not very conclusive.

When Coyote breaks the 4th wall, he does it with much style. Annie's delivery is a little dry.

Which leads me to the question whether all Court robots hate Sir Young, like they all love and mourn Jeanne.

and perhaps created them to save Annie when she was pushed off the bridge? (and perhaps other reasons as well....) yeah, exactly i was just reading the... summary post? the first post of the kat theory thread, and it mentioned how the etheric version of kat has cables(?) coming from the eyes, possibly going to the 'thousand eyes'! i didn't notice of that. also the bird motif, like i recognized that she was inspired by/made a wing first, but i'd forgotten that birds have been a reoccurring thing with kat since aly it's funny how i can't remember now what things i speculated and what theories i picked up on the forum years ago. i'm pretty sure i had the kat/goddess/tic-toc thought myself before reading more theories about it here, but who knows anymore (i kind of want to read that whole thread, but on the other hand it's 18 pages... ...)

Well, we've "read" 1820 comic pages..... 18 pages of text?

also, i love how much this interaction mirrors when annie and kat are in the ether and kat does stuff mirrors... and inverts! In your link, Annie solves a problem in a realm (technology/robotics) that in which Kat is usually the expert, while when solving the unlocking of GreenGuy's shackles, Kat solves a problem in ether-space where Annie is usually the adept. Nice catch!

Well, we've "read" 1820 comic pages..... 18 pages of text? yeah, but that's 1820 pages of masterfully crafted, cleverly plotted, beautifully depicted comic vs 18 pages of bandying about wild speculation and fan theories, so... we'll see (also, that 1820 pages of comic was spread out over eleven-ish years...) ((who am i kidding, i'm probably going to read it))

Bearing the sign of Mercury originally, of course Renard would end up with Annie's lockpicks for much of the comic.

It appears that humanish-size robots pretty much invariably have their processors in their heads. When Kat repaired and then shut down the ancient robot, she worked in its chest. On what looks like a pump of some sort, or perhaps a power supply. Which implies that those ancient robots are, most likely, not dead in any meaningful sense. Just asleep, awaiting restoration of their power.

I've only just caught on to this - it makes perfect sense that the Pomps came to see Surma to help them with the kid who died by playing with fire. If there's a fire elemental nearby, why wouldn't you want their help with that type of problem?

On what looks like a pump of some sort, or perhaps a power supply. Which implies that those ancient robots are, most likely, not dead in any meaningful sense. Just asleep, awaiting restoration of their power. That chapter covers this completely. The Old Robot talks about he and his brethren being, for all intents and purposes, dead. Kat and Annie also examine the heart, and Annie brings up the idea of Golems. The Heart is a ceramic lump covered in marking which provide the programming. In that scene, Kat is removing a patch she put on the heart to work around the damage the old robots had created to end their own lives (which did, in fact, restore the Old Robot to life). It is also revealed in that same chapter that the old robots couldn't recreate the hearts Diego made, and created the new robots with different tech.

Have we ever seen Anthony feeling relaxed and happy? Ever? Seeing Anthony relaxed was pretty much the whole purpose of Donny's plan in Chapter 53: Annie and the Fire; that seemed to work, especially in this page. Not sure about the "happy" part, though. He smiled several times when talking with Donny, and sorta even laughed (ironically, with a hint of total despair), but he also ended that conversation by crying himself to sleep. So I guess the answer is basically...no. I mean, I'm sure there have been plenty of times when he has been sincerely relaxed and happy, but we have not actually seen any of those in the comic. Sucks to be him.

Not the coolest or most surprising detail, but it is kind of adorable somehow.

Maybe this was said before. Maybe I'm duplicating a "discovery" from years ago. But this blew my mind. Anya wears Annie's hairclip! And somehow I now notice that Annie's name is partly homage to Surma's best friend. My, I wonder how I never linked both names.....

Keen observation now go read 'the stone' and be even more intrigued... Also, don't worry about 'been said before', as someone else mentioned before: thia thread is about what *you* noticed on reread. (And frankly, there are too many pages to check for double posts)
