On my first read-through, I assumed the arrow in this page was just to show the direction of the river's flow... Well noticed! Now I wonder what the gear on the Forest's side, under Ysengrin's arm represents... Gonna assume the Tik Tok that took root there.

Probably has something to do with Anja's computer.

Reynardine has tried to escape the Court more than once. www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=56 indicates that he stole Sivo's body only 5 years ago but it seems safe to assume more time than that has passed since he was captured. Edit- Okay, Eglamore technically says more than 5 years, but since at least 10 years must have passed (as evidenced by his love interest having run of gotten married and had a kid more than 10 years old during his imprisonment) since Renard was captured it would still seem odd to refer to it as "more than 5 years".

On my first time through I didn't notice how odd the 1:50 panel is on this page. Looks like Annie is contemplating a steak knife, and Kat has...a straw, maybe?

The thing in front of Kat could be a scalpel. Maybe they're cutting up birds frogs in biology.

That's been brought up before. Word of Tom said it was just an old poster, if I remember correctly.

Jiminiminy's symbol is that of lead. There hasn't been anything official about what it stands for, but I suspect it has to do with shielding and protection, hence why it adorns the Dragon Slayer's armor. This symbol also appears on the facade of the Court facing the Forest. I have an opinion on this particular symbol that I think no one voiced out yet. I really want to say it! But I don't know how relevant it might be right now, or if people want to hear it either...

This'll be short:
The symbol, in my opinion, looks like a stylised version for the symbol Jupiter. (Which, of course, represents tin) Sadly, I don't know what significance of Jupiter might have in this story.

Both sides have "spores" of a sort that are actively trying to colonize the other.

Is the forum's search feature completely broken, or has no one mentioned the glowing photographs of footprints in the old library? www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=23

It's been noticed. Tom has stated they were going to be part of a storyline that he abandoned.

Oh man, I've read this chapter like 5 times, but I just now got this reference: www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=913"Did I tell you about the time I saw a ghost clown?" I also just realized that Annie knows Spanish and Polish most likely not because her parents taught her, but because she learned it from the psychonauts psychopomps.

All my internets. ALL OF THEM. <3 Psychonauts I'll just leave this here. Tom foresaw this joke long ago and beat us to the punchline, obviously.

Hmm. That Seraph doesn't have an "off" button. I guess because it was a set piece, more of an art installation than anything else, along with the other 'bots who were there to observe and applaud the pseudo bullfight in that sequence.

It wasn't a set piece -at least, not originally. The first-gen robots lacked the means to build more of themselves, so S1 had to have been built by Diego as well. I suppose Diego may have made S1 specifically for the bullfight sequence, but the rest of the robots certainly weren't.

www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=311Apologies if people have posted about this, but in the last panel Renardine is giving the bras d'honneur to Annie (American equivalent of the middle finger). Took me awhile to look up what it's called; I was familiar with the gesture (and thought it was British in origin!), but never knew what it was called. I always just thought she was punishing him for the look he's giving her in the panel before! Hilarious.

Thank you! I always wondered what Annie and Kat were reacting to in that last panel.
