*shrug* A couple of extra lines for each of them, plus a little editing wizardry... Anyway it turns out (I did my research) that it's something we won't have to worry about until Chapter 15, as Shadow 2 doesn't speak again until page 308. Perhaps as the time gets closer we can ask our Kat and Annie what they think. |

Is this just for fun or is this an actual plan for a real full reading collaborative audio book thing? either way, still way cool.

I'm going to try and buy a new microphone today and get in an audition for Shadow2's chiping and tweeting, as well as the Evil Spanish Clown.
Casey, I really think you should audition for Eglamore or Reynardine.

Damn, my parents (I'm at home from uni ATM) were going to go for a walk at a nearby hill fort. I expected to be able to stay behind and ham up Dr. Disaster's lines in peace. Unfortunately my half brother visited a few days ago and was involved in a traffic accident, so he came back to get some things sorted out. His presence (it's one of those hard to explain things) made my mother decide to insist I go with them. Curses and drat.

Casey, I really think you should audition for Eglamore or Reynardine. You know, I did give it some thought, but my throat's been a little messed up this week with allergies, and besides that I have the same issue you mentioned, of really only wanting to record while no one else is in the house. But who knows... if both of those things resolve themselves tomorrow, I might still do it. But only because you keep insisting that I do!!  Edit: Okay it was Bisected8 and Ulysses that mentioned it, but you know what I was talking about. |

I'm thinking of submitting a new Audition... I've been practicing my accent more lately, and it's sounding more natural (to me anyway) than it did at the time of that recording. Also, I never gave my sample of Wolf Reynard. I was also planning to audition the Evil Spanish Clown, too... I have something in mind for it... Might need some digital tweaking, but still, a nifty one-shot.

FEMALE VOCAL TALENT PLEASE NOTE!There is a role that did not get included in the current round of ballots but that we need to fill as quickly as possible. The part is of Tea, the white-haired GC student from the bonus pages. Her pages can be found here, here, here, and here. Please submit auditions ASAP if you want this role! I would say use your natural voice in a smooth, announcerish kind of way, but feel free to bring your own personality to the table! Post your auditions here in this thread. IMPORTANT NEWS FOR ALL:
Voting for Chapters 1 and 2, as well as submissions roles in chapters 3 and 4, ends in 24 hours, or Midnight Saturday May 9th, 2009.
HOWEVER!
I will not be able to physically be at my computer at that specific hour. Therefore, you will not see any changes, you won't see any results, and you won't be able to vote for the next round, until I can get home and make all the changes.
But I still want every submission and vote to be in WELL before the midnight deadline. I don't know what time I'll be getting back, and you don't want to be the bloke who is about to post his audition only to find that as you were finishing it, I switched things over. So PLEASE try not to push the envelope because I would feel bad if something like that happened.
By Sunday morning, the results should be posted and the ballot for Round 2 should be available.

Yay! Thank you, Casey! I was afraid it wouldn't be accepted because someone has had trouble trying to listen to files from this site before, but I don't know of any other 'safe' sites that take audio files. @_@ (I've seen a share here, but I'm extremely skittish about the internet and what I put on my laptop.)
I'm actually really shy and kind of burst that particular file out while my parents were in their room, so I hope it doesn't sound too rushed. @_@
In any case, I'm glad the audition was accepted so far! =D

I really hope you like it... I do funny voices all the time for my own amusement (see Sleepy Mythology Teacher) and this is my first time doing a role "straight", as it were. So I'm a little apprehensive about it, hehe! |

Hey, sorry to be doing things a little late, again, but I've been really distracted all week and I've had the damnedest time focussing on the voice audition for Reynardine. Here's a very small sample I just made. I wanted to do more, but I'm at a friend's house overnight and won't have acecss to my room (or a single minute of fucking silence) until I Get back home tomorrow.
I hope it's okay for me to expand my audition, with a few more recordings, when I get back home tomorrow on Saturday.
edit: Okay, apparently the recording I made was saved in Windows audio, so I can't even share this with you guys.
