I almost did another Donny audition, but then I realised it wouldn't actually sound any different even if I tried. Really want Donny 8( *puppy-dog eyes* Holy wow I hate university. It's half five in the morning here and I haven't slept tonight. Curse assignments, and curse my inability to organise a schedule! Hah, I finished uni for the year at the begining of the month. Now I have time to work on crazy projects! Like...building a real boxbot!

Or even less - just an idea?! Either way, it's going to be terrible ;D At the moment? It consists of a few parts on order from Maplin, a pile of rubbish around my house, the PCB in my etching kit and the solder in my toobox. I take (BEAM) robotics seriously...well not really. They're just glorified piles of junk.

I am interested in your real Boxbot too, but could you start a thread about it in the main forum? (subtle...)

Not enough Vin Diesel.

Forgot Vin Diesel does City Face's voice, oops. That's too deep for me to attempt at the moment without coughing so hard my throat explodes, so I'll wait before correcting it.

Oh my... It's all kinds of awesome, even if there is not enough Vin Diesel!

I wouldn't "correct" it at all, I think it's awesome exactly how it is. Something about your inflection just makes me crack up every time I listen to it!

Let's call it a fandub, and Vin Diesel can be the canon dub

Here's my first audition! It's for Coyote. Really more of a practice at getting my microphone and everything to cooperate with me! Also, I have zero experience with making movies on my computer. That said, here it is! www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4f9-nPIFi0Maguschala

My Parley is up! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kpk2vXQHr4UThis is where voice acting is weird. I felt like I was YELLING AND SCREAMING AND ENERGY-ING at the microphone...and it sounds less energetic than my real-life speaking pattern. XD Eh, maybe I'll try again, but I kind of like it. We'll see. I've got awhile, after all.

Hey, I need to remind everyone that if you're planning on auditioning for Tea or Margo, then you need to have your audition posted before midnight Saturday GMT. These two roles will be the only ones on the ballot next week.

I remember someone telling me about acting: If it feels like a little too much, it's probably just right! This feels true here! Gotta go over the top in order to hit the mark! Haha. Mag

Maguschala, not to be rude, but isn't "Alistair" pronounced "Al-ihs-tur"?

Debi's audition is super awesome, and also triple cute. How old is she? I'm gonna guess... 14.

The internet says it comes from either:
- 'button' as in the button quail, a very small bird. - 'button' as in the bud of a flower - 'button' as in a prostitute in Amsterdam (this one got shot down for having no evidence) - 'button' as in...a button. Particularly the small, intricate ones worn by women in the "Elizabethan/Edwardian/Victorian times" (thus saying 'it could have come from any time in the last 500 years!' Helpful ¬_¬)
- 'cute' as in cute.
An alternate phrase is 'bright as a button', meaning basically the same thing.
The internet knows everything!

Got bored of revision, so I flicked through the Black Dogs page on Wikipedia to find out where they come from. I thought it might help if we have to voice more than just the Moddey Dhoo.
Moddey Dhoo - Isle of Man Cwn Annwn - Wales (as is Mallt-y-nos. It's normally these two together, rather than Moddey Dhoo) Gytrash - Lancashire Gurt Dog - Somerset (oo ar) Lean Dog - Hertfordshire, specifically Tring.
It might not come to it, and we obviously don't have to stick to real life, but it might help.
