There is still time to get your auditions in for the roles closing tomorrow. Come on, no one's even auditioned for Margo! Some pretty important roles here, come on guys! Don't wait until the last minute!

Yes, we need another Shadow 2 audition. I need proof that I can parp and squeak better than everyone else, gwa ha ha ha! "Gwee" indeed.

We're not. I'm not going to put the project on hold just because people's interest appears to be waning. That would only make it worse.
In fact, at this point I'm thinking about stopping voting for a time, and us focusing on production until we're at least a few chapters underway. That would renew interest in the project more than putting it on pause for one character would, in my opinion.

Yeah, right. I'm totally with you on that, and it's what I was intending on suggesting anyway.
I also think moving into production would not only renew interest in members already involved, but probably bring in a few new participants as well. I can only imagine how much many more people could get involved once we put this thing out there.
At the very least, having 1 or 2 chapters of this thing completed and floating around on the internet would garner interest in the comic itself. More readers for Tom.

Yeah you know in a way it's my fault. I had intended on starting production this week that is now ending, but I've run into some problems figuring out exactly how to get folks together in voice chat to rehearse. Ventrilo servers are tough to come by for our purposes. I did give my production email address to two of our bit part holders so they can send in audio files, but I haven't gotten anything yet.

Maybe it would be easier if you just compiled it from prerecorded clips?

Casey, why not try and use Skype for a start? It's free, supports call conferencing and it doesn't require a server to be set up. However, it does sometimes have glitches in call quality, but that's really minor and it would give us a starting point until a ventrillo server can be found.

Rasselas, someone has mentioned Skype before, and I know nothing about it, but I'm more than willing to give it a try. If you know something about it and can help us, can you send me a PM about it or contact me on YM?

I've installed Skype now... if I understand how this works, we don't actually need Yahoo Messenger or whatever, because you can apparently send instant messages through Skype as well.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=dafzMD3wInkThe only thing I had on hand for an Audition for Donald. I didn't realize there was so little time left to do so, else I'd have done something simpler, Sooner.

That's a pretty good Scottish accent you've got there.

Whew, ok, I've added it to the master list! (Under Donny, since the others are already in voting of course.)

Thanks. I learned by listening to a Scottish Exchange student at my school, several years ago... A good way to learn what a real one sounds like. Especially if you've never lived anywhere but the Southeastern US. n.n

I put up an audition for Margo. I understand if it's too late for it to be in this round, but I figured that one Margo is better than no Margo at all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNz36e5tm_c

Margo will be rolled forward. If I didn't put it up there already, then I missed it and I'll put it up there when I add your audition.

Okay, I've added Margo under the special auditions section. Other than Margo and Tea, no auditions have a close date yet. I want to get my Margo and Tea by this time next week, but I'm not going to put later chapters up to a vote until we've made some headway on producing the first few chapters.
This is a good time, then, for you all to work on your auditions for the later chapters. Take your time and make a product you really like. Even if you've already submitted an audition for later chapters, you can make another one and replace your existing one or add it so that they both are heard.

I'm going to look into the robotic roles. I can make my voice sound synthetic quite easily.

It's a shame Burletron isn't a character in GC ;D.
Although I prefer coffee anyway. ¬_¬

Sorry for the double post, but here's the auditions for all the robots from chapter 12 (except boxbot, which I've already submitted an audition for); www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bY6dMPbG_4

For Bullbot we could just steal some soundbytes of the Smoke Monster from Lost Jks, let's not steal anything.

Maybe we could get the sound of a motor and increase the pitch a bit so it sounds like a roar. That'd work quite well.

I almost did another Donny audition, but then I realised it wouldn't actually sound any different even if I tried. Really want Donny 8( *puppy-dog eyes*
Holy wow I hate university. It's half five in the morning here and I haven't slept tonight. Curse assignments, and curse my inability to organise a schedule!
