If it's just Kat we wouldn't see this sort of reaction from Annie Unless Diego did something we don't know about I think any ownership contracts he held would've dissolved on his death. I think it has to be Kat, who may not literally be Diego's heir but sorta is metaphorically, which is more than enough for the Gunnerverse. Antimony's probably just surprised that Kat's going to be bipped in for something like this. Or called on the radio-thinger. |

In the NPs' previous robot form, they did not go into the ether but simply had their consciousness stopped on death. Now they form ghosts, and it was Kat's transformation of them, that made this possible. This makes it likely that Kat is the keeper of their souls.

Outside the distortion I don't think the Noobs can yet die per se (though looks like we are about to take a big step on changing that). Maybe she was just tooken, or perhaps she was a goose-wife and therefore never real or this type of creature to begin with, but I don't think so; it sure looked to me like Coyote was making his teeth real for that munching. Additionally, since Lana was taken by a god (Coyote) that could affect her relationship with Kat. Lana, including Lana's soul (for lack of a better term) was stolen. Not sure Coyote is in a position to exercise such a claim right now but Saslamel could probably bring Coyote right here to ask him about it if the issue comes up. |
