I crack myself up sometimes. Some good glue fixes that sort of thing though. I hope you've got room in here for the rest of the bunch of misfits that travel with me (http://www.freewebs.com/ihalon/TheHeroes.png) Where are they from? I want backstory

You want character backstories? I have no indecent intentions, Diedre Vixennette*! Anyone who knows me would attest to that. Awww, I can never keep my poker face on. But you might enjoy the company of my...friend (interesting word, huh) Renard. He's a true gentleman, unlike myself, alas. *Frickin' awesome last name, btw.

Unfortunately their story attempt has been put in the recycle bin of history, and I never try a second time with the same bunch of misfits. That big picture was quoted to me for $200; I paid double for the quality because I pay what a piece is worth, and in the three years since that pic, the artist's only gotten better if you want a link to her DA.
If you want to see examples of my writing, click on the link in my signature linking to my previous "Civilization" game in a different forum. I'm currently getting ready to move and will soon be offline for an extended period (landlord tried renting residential in a commercial zone... big no no here, forcing me to relocate) --- when I get back I'm going to be doing another one.
... come to think of it, Renard and Deidre probably -would- hit it off... gods know the poor guy needs a romance...

For getting a date of course. Mostly because I don't see either of them as writers. Heh.

If you don't mind me asking, do you believe that Tarot reads the future for real?

If I didn't, I wouldn't be doing it. I charge a name-your-own-price if I do it by email (so if I do a good job, pay me to reflect that; if I'm wrong the only thing I waste is your time) --- reflectedlightning@gmail.com if you want a read from me of 19 cards.
2 AM, this 'yena might be nocturnal but even I have my limits. *disappears*

If I didn't, I wouldn't be doing it. A budding augur, eh? You should switch to tossing animal bones. Much cheaper, same result, tends to bore the tourists less. You said you only make 6 bucks on every 25? Who is your boss and why does he need 19 bucks for every customer, especially if he can tell the future? Shouldn't you guys be providing this vital public service for free?

If I didn't, I wouldn't be doing it. Hmm. Reminds me of my friend's mom. She has an irrational fear of Ouija boards. Every time we pull it out she leaves the house and won't come back until we put it away. Belief is a powerful thing.

Shouldn't you guys be providing this vital public service for free? I'm on food stamps and government assistance, because of reasons. Reading tarot's my side pursuit. The site I work off of used to say "set your own price". Then they changed it to a minimum of $2 a minute. My original price was 85 cents a minute. I lost 90% of my business because of that little change. It takes -years- to build up a client base, so I really can't go looking at other reader sites (especially not while I'm looking for a new place to live). And not budding, I've been doing it since 1994 or so.

I gave birth to my son, William (told you he wear the name of one of GKC's characters ! ), and I am really proud even if it's hard as hell to take care of a newborn child. How could've i missed this?! I was anticipating it! Yaaaay! Finally! Congrats. Can I hold him? Actually, i missed this because i never lurk, but then i was like "let's check on Gulby's posts. Wasn't she due around this time..." Derpy me.

Civilization 6 Theorycrafting thread is up for my Civilization game over in another forum, should anyone want to play the game when I finally manage to start it (either beginning of July or September. The past 5 have been a lot of fun, so go look if you're interested in watching a civilization grow Links are in my signature. EDIT a few hours later: It's open to everyone, and I'd appreciate the players. The last Civilization spanned 60 pages, with Drow, anthropomorphic frogs, My Little Ponies, a couple of dragons and a few other things battling it out for supremecy and survival.

I've been working on summarizing scenes and arcs and noting important moments in Captain SNES in the forum. I've made it through act one so far. The webcomic is definitely worth a read. www.captainsnes.comI've also made a program on my calculator which not only performs Reimman sums, but also graphs the rectangles (the second part was a pain)

I made it on a Ti-84 Plus Silver Edition, yeah. The difficulty was mainly that Line( refuses to use lists as arguments...I don't even remember how I got around that. EDIT: Looks like I looked up how For( works. Here's the program: The program is attached because of it being long and all. It uses variables B, D, E, F, G, H, N, I, Str1, Y1, Xmin, Xmax, Xscl, Ymin, Ymax and Yscl and the lists L1, L2 and L3 without ever cleaning up. Typing it out, I keep noticing places where I could have written it better. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask (though its been a while, so I might not remember the answer). Ah man that takes me back! I wrote a whole suite of math-related TIbasic programs that I still use (plus tens of games, of course). The ones that I was especially proud of were a very neat factorization algorithm and a polynomial solver, plus a limit calculator that worked beautifully. I once worked on a symbolic differentiator but I got bored, and I did a Riemann sum program (without a graphical interface: I'm always function over form). I eventually adopted python though - and never really went back. I'll pm you the full text of mine sometime of my tibasic programs though, if you want

I eventually adopted python though - and never really went back. I'll pm you the full text of mine sometime of my tibasic programs though, if you want Until I finished the second or third iteration of that program, I didn't know that there was actual documentation on the functions beyond the soooo far from complete "manual", or that comments could be made, so the reimann sum calculator was my pride and joy for ... up until just today? Regardless, it kept me busy during all that free time in ap chem. Ordinarily, I wouldn't go for a graphical interface, but my calc teacher showed us a program that graphs them, then said we couldn't have it. I'm actually working a computer engineering major right now, so I'm no longer using tibasic, but seeing your programs would be neat! I'm learning C right now, and damn, you have it easy with your easy string/array manipulation. Actually, the more I see of C, the more I'm convinced that the writers of Python are actually secretly gods.

KMar (under the name Mausolous) set up a multi-functioned (box)bot on the forum IRC, and I know that Thoth knows enough of it to speak intelligently with KMar on the subject.
