A couple of minutes ago, I found a paper in my mailbox that says that I obtained my car driving licence. HOURRAY !!! Happy me, pregnant for 7 months and a half, and I DID manage to find it ! \o/ I would have never found it. I have awful searching skills. /jk (Congrats!)

zimmyhooYup. DaedalusNo, none, but I do have experience with Latin and French, which is of some, fairly limited help. I also had a short course in Spanish at the beginning of my trip as well. I know enough now to get by on my own, but it isn't elegant.

Nice story! A reference to web-comics and a wolf-like creature in green, hm sounds familiar. I used to read lots of sf, so every new book always reminds me of something I read earlier. In this case Arthur Clarke's The Nine Billion Names of God. But only because the endings where somewhat similar.

Thanks! Just in case you didn't notice: There's a "credits" section after the end of the story which explains what other works are being referred to. I was careful to be accurate to those works without giving away any spoilers.

It's not quite the mile high club, but it's something. Ehhh you've already doubled that so it's nothing to boast about.

I've single-handedly translated The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger and Terranigma into Swedish.

I gave birth to my son, William (told you he wear the name of one of GKC's characters ! ), and I am really proud even if it's hard as hell to take care of a newborn child.

Congratulations, it's good to hear everything went okay. William is an excellent name- a good all-rounder. Just call him "Willie" if he ever tries to sass you!

yesterday I dissected my first dog. Try that on me and you will not survive to regret it. So. Shameless self promotion thread. Uh... I'm a hyena. Yeah. *slinks off to lurk* Brother canid! Welcome to our humble abode. It's as entertaining as the forest, but with less trees. You simply *must* meet my friend Renard! Clever as a fox, that one! Wahahah!!!! I crack myself up sometimes. Some good glue fixes that sort of thing though.
