Well, Annie, just don't try to sling Paz around like a sack of potatoes and everything should be fine.

I honestly paused for a second to remember who he was. I had to go back to A week for Kat to remind me what happened...that was indeed a bit tactless of Annie.

Wait, what if Annie went to pick up Paz and she was really heavy and Annie couldn't pick her up and Annie went "Paz, how old are you," and Paz went "About four and a half billion years old. Why?"

I think the homework and lying thing is going to be a bigger problem for you, Annie, than picking up people...

Poor Annie. Not quite human. gunnerkrigg.com/?p=240gunnerkrigg.com/?p=785Wait, what if Annie went to pick up Paz and she was really heavy and Annie couldn't pick her up and Annie went "Paz, how old are you," and Paz went "About four and a half billion years old. I think the homework and lying thing is going to be a bigger problem for you, Annie, than picking up people... Depends on how you mean the word "pick up"... SORRY! I agree, though; I think Annie is making a WAY bigger deal about that fight than she needs to. Also, LOVE Kat's pose in panel 5! It looks SO awkward, but I've DONE that before!

Her knowledge of the extent of Annie's copying is debatable, though I doubt that's going to be as big a problem as flowsthead is making it out to be.

I don't think Kat knows, and it might become a big problem, I mostly think that because of www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=798 and www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=1038(which reminds me, what was up with this: www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=794 ? Annie getting angry and running off to the forest was always explained as that it was because of what Rey said, but she was clearly already pissed before that, from the start of the chapter, why was that? was it because of what Kat's mom told her?)

It's a thing I wondered recently on reread. And who was she angry with exactly? Anja? Surma? Rey? The Court? The chapter before that was 'the coward heart' but I dont' think she's angry at P or S or K?

And those middle panels were the camera panning towards him or something. As for when it happens again, I dunno. Face of resolve, maybe?

Ooh, good catch! I had forgotten about 1038 in all the confusion of that chapter. I can't believe that was only 200ish pages ago! I think it was a combination of finding out that her mother was not as flawless as she used to think and the stress caused by guilt of copying Kat's homework.

It's a thing I wondered recently on reread. And who was she angry with exactly? Anja? Surma? Rey? The Court? The chapter before that was 'the coward heart' but I dont' think she's angry at P or S or K? She was just told that her own mother deliberately manipulated Rey into coming to the Court. Which is reprehensible enough already, but things didn't go according to plan and people died through her mother's actions. And then they basically told her to do the same by not telling him the truth. Immediately after that she ran into Jack whom she at that point still held responsible for hurting Rey. Then she went to copy Kat's homework which in my interpretation she feels quite guilty about. (I do not think Kat knows.) When Rey, who two of these events were centered around, told her off about it she blew up. btw: Isn't copying your best friend's homework when your best friend's parents are your teachers a kinda obviously bad idea? ... I accidentally clicked the like button when I wanted to edit the post. I'm not a weird narcissist
