It doesn't animate that much, it just flashes with random stuff every thirty seconds or so. I knew it was animated but I didn't know about random stuff. Whenever I've looked at it the "face" just goes blank periodically. What should I be seeing? It's not random per se, just kind of nonsensical. 2/3 times it's the mouth. Care if anyone joins in?  |

So not even a partial guess at my little puzzle picture? I guess I made it too hard. Or you guys were all so hung over from Halloween parties that you can't remember how to zoom in on pictures. Or you really didn't want to look at that picture closely. I'll go diving for more clue items and double or triple them but this is a bad week for such things so it will take a while. Meanwhile, enjoy this absurdity.  |

Clarification: While I was putting Avatar-dude into Jones' place I also dropped in a number of scene-appropriate signature items from other free online webcomics and subtly blended them into the background. Perhaps it was so subtle that some people didn't notice at all. These were the easter eggs out-of-season in honor of Halloween I mentioned! An easier version is in the pipe with doubled, tripled, or more items; hopefully it will be done by Friday. The theme by which I was selecting items originally will have to go by the wayside a bit which will make them easier to spot, but the flipside of that coin will be that the number of webcomics you're now guessing will be obscured. Some notables were snubbed but I can't include everything; one or two obscure ones were selected but I'm pretty sure most forum-goers will have heard of all of them. One request: This would probably be too easy if you guys compare notes so unless ready to admit stumpage just yell out names of webcomics, do not [yet] tie particular items you know to webcomics. [edit] I thought it was Proboards autodorking my links again but looks like it's Photobucket down for routine site maintenance this time. Link should work again soon. [/edit] |

I don't usually do requests but that's super-easy and I was uploading something anyway so here's a 30sec first thing in morning rush job. (Lupin 3?)  What is the Xbox controller supposed to be from? Penny Arcade? The only hint I will give you for now is that particular item may be less signature than some others (can't make this TOO easy) though it is cut/pasted from the foreground in a memorable setting in a popular free online webcomic what shares a fanbase with GC. I may have artisticlly blended it in a bit but that item is otherwise as it has appeared in that webcomic a bunch of times. Also  |
