Look. Our brains need labels to categorize our fictional characters. Paz and Kat can't be just Paz and Kat. It has to be lesbian and lesbian. Perhaps you find yourself so limited. Please don't assume everyone else is also. I'm pretty sure that Kat is either "uncertain and exploring" or "bisexual", but have no problem with thinking that she might instead be "lesbian" or "heterosexual but being kind to a friend". That's four categories right there, on just the one issue, and I'm leaving them all open. |

Just in case there's a confusion here, I think ryrmyrbyr was being sarcastic. (warrl if you already knew that I'm sorry, I'm pretty bad at picking up sarcasm personally). i read it as sarcasm, but sarcasm is really difficult for me to read online with any degree of certainty I've also realized that Wednesday is the bonus page, Friday is the next chapter opener, and so it's gonna be like a week before anything comes of this storyline. Ugggggh. ...and after three pages the comic will immediately focus on this relationship for the next 3 chapters. I mean, it's not like the previous 41 chapter weren't enough to draw some conclusions about narration style and plot threads... We seem to be made to suffer. It's our lot in life. I just think that’s not an inference we can make from the events as we see them. if by "not an inference we can make" you mean 'we can't take that as conclusive evidence' then i agree. but i didn't think anyone was holding that up as conclusive evidence. the posts i saw were using it as speculative evidence and, more recently, retrospective supporting evidence. |

Gotta admit, this page really seems to have brought out some questionable reactions. While majority seems to be behaving nicely, we have both complete denials from those who did not like it, and condescendingly arrogant told-you-so answers from those who did like it.
Makes one feel like he shouldn't even post his own opinion.
On another note, am I the only one who is afraid that the bonus page will put some sinister or dark twist to this all?

Who knows? Like some have said, this seemed to go awfully smoothly, almost suspiciously so. Not to mention that the "Letter was not from Bobby" was not exactly the most... imaginative twist.
Then again, it might just be paranoia.

I don't really believe that Kat is letting Paz down easy or anything, specifically because of the final panel. I might be off because it's relatively small, but it looks to me like Kat takes hold of Paz's hand with both of hers. That's not a "get me out of this situation" reaction as far as I can tell.
Also, I cannot recall any time the bonus page was anything other than a one-off joke or an informative piece that's semi-relevant to the previous chapter.
