When Tom did the guest comic for Dr McNinja earlier this year. Not that I had been reading Dr. McNinja terribly long; I reached 'cause it was "featured comic" on VG Cats. Er... that's it.

I think I saw it when Tom did the SGR Idol thing over on ScaryGoRound. I didn't realise how amazing it was then, though. I found it linked from somewhere else as well a while later and started reading properly, that was when I realised how amazing it is.
Now when I tell people about it I'm jealous because I know how much joy they have ahead of them.

Y'know, I can't actually remember. I think it was plugged over on Dresden Codak. The guy who does that might be a little slow in updating his strip, but he's certainly not slow in digging up good webcomics, and I've found more than a few of my faves thanks to that place.

This "How did you discover Gunnerkrigg Court?" question would be a good one for the Introduction Thread.

I found GC in the links section of an other webcomic I can't remember. Afterstrife or No Rest For The Wicked or something else ... I'm not sure. The first page I ever saw was this one and I totally loved Coyote! His dialogue and bodylanguage made him appear like a trickster-god in an astonishingly easy way, not to mention his design which clearly indicated Tom's awesome creativity. I was like "Wow, sweet!" and read the whole comics in just a couple of hours over two days. etc.

Doc McNinja, when Tom did a guest comic. It was during the "Mainly Involves Robots" Chapter, when Annie was grabbing Robot's brain from it's little cell. I was the same.

I discovered it through 4chan of all places. There was a load of them posted. And as I quite enjoy reading, thought I'd go to the beginning.

Lessee...someone posted the Mort-scares-Paz sequence in a "Funny Images" thread on another board I frequent. I was curious and followed the images.

A friend of mine (who's on here as Riess) who's just starting up a fantasy webcomic of his own had featured an homage to Shadow 2 in one of its pages, and of course, linked Gunnerkrigg Court in his comments.
So I went over there, and...I forget where exactly I came in. It was before The Medium Beginning, probably partway through A Bedtime Story. I clicked back to the very beginning and read the entire comic through in about 2 days. Then kept up with it. And am definitely a fan now, as my fairly sparse artwork here shows.

Same as talanhawke, and I must say that GC is probably on the TOP3 of favorite webcomics of all time for me; unsure on the exact position, but TOP3 indeed.

I found this place Via the RPG.net Motivational posters thread, not very long ago. Someone poosted a couple showing Reynardine changing to chase off the teenagers, and then of him picking the lock... I was curious enough to check it out. As I do with all new to me webcomics, I went back to the beginning, and was instantly hooked. The touches of dry humor (No Spare Robot Parts), the story, the pacing, the very deliberate feel of it all... I even made a poster of my own, in reference to the Call of Cthulu games... Granted I've never played the games, but I heard enough jokes about San Loss that this seemed an appropriate image.

First read it about two years ago and lost the link. Found it again either from Sam and Fuzzy, SGR or possibly even A Miracle of Science, can't remember. Been reading it regularly for about 6 months, joined the forums because of the site crash

Either Dresden Codak or Minus. I'm not sure which, but I discovered Dresden Codak through Minus or maybe Minus through Dresden Codak. It's just a series of links...

My twin, Yue-chan told me about it and convinced me to read it after striking a deal (she'd watch Doctor Who and I would read Gunnerkrigg). I've been hooked ever since.

I've only known about GC for about a year. I got pulled into the DCodak forums by "International Pretend To Be a Time Traveler Day" and just happened to glance at their webcomic thread. GC was listed several times, and I had never heard of it. Seemed to be worth a look.
Now it's my favorite webcomic. Hands down. Thanks, Diaz.

(I'm a long time lurker, so this would be my first post.)
Curiously enough, I found Gunnerkrigg while reading the comments on the blog Your Webcomic is Bad and You Should Feel Bad. I'd seen it somewhere once before (or at least I thought I had), but I hadn't read it before. It looked interesting enough, so I gave it a read and found it incredibly enjoyable. That was a couple pages into The Fangs of Summertime.

A long time ago, Josh Lesnik (creator of Girly) made a controversial post on his livejournal blog where he criticized the art-work of a bunch of the more popular webcomics on the internet. Gunnerkrigg was one of the comics he listed as one he listed for something he considered having good art-work and top of being written well.
And funny enough, sort of similar to a previous post in this thread, I originally gained interest in the story because the structure reminded me of Harry Potter.

I dipped in the articles on tvtropes.org and ended up on the strips page.
Eventually decided to read the comic to see what all the fuss was about!
