So, anyone got any new screenshots? Do you still have lag problems? Negative. I also added a comment on your images. We need a new ravine picture too.

Not. Do not update your clients to 1.5 until you read the OK from goofanader, else you'll be probably unable to connect. Hello goofanader?

According to www.bukkit.org, due to the buggy nature of Minecraft 1.5, they probably aren't going to release an update for it. They're waiting for a 1.5.1 or something of the sort so a majority of bugs are ironed out and a solid release can be made. On that note, do not update to 1.5 if you wish to do things on the GKC Minecraft server. Sorry for the late reply... D: EDIT: I've updated our bukkit and all plugins to be compliant with the latest bukkit. THIS DOES NOT MEAN it works with 1.5 yet. :>

On that note, do not update to 1.5 if you wish to do things on the GKC Minecraft server. Um... how I prevents my Minecraft from updating? I once again feel like i'm doing half the posts here, people When you log in and an update is available, it should give you the possibility of updating or not. You just select not to do it. EDIT: I'm adding an user, my friend, named "nabbysomething" to the whitelist. I buyed him the account just for this purpose, of helping me here. If you've got problems with this, goof or anyone else, please tell me. Thanks. If he griefs, i'll make him so dead. [glow=red,2,300]EDIT: DURING THE INTRODUCTORY TOUR WITH MY FRIEND, I FOUND THE GREAT HALL GRIEFED BY TNT.[/glow]I WILL PUT ON BIG BROTHER, AND YOU WILL DIEBe banned(more lawyers-friendly) IN A FIRE, WHOEVER THE BASTARD MOTHER###### YOU ARE. And then, there will be cake.

When you log in and an update is available, it should give you the possibility of updating or not. You just select not to do it. It turns out I was using an older version of the launcher which doesn't give you the option not to update---I guess my question must have seemed pretty silly! Thank you for responding anyway.

I shan't be able to login for a while then, what with portal 2 and because I updated before reading this topic. I have spent some of my time updating the Wikidot. That site needs a shit-load adding to it, everything on it is rather behind what things look like now (some pages haven't changed since the very begiining). And I have no screen-shots of the server to replace the ancient ones.

The server is going down for tnt repairs and plugin updates. I'm watching you. If you, the culprit of the holes, come out clean with us, i promise a party escort associate will not administer heavy doses of *static* to you and there will instead be cake. Assuming you only did a stupid mishap, something i am not very sure of, and didn't have the courage to tell the admins, please, do not do it again in the future. if you're in good faith and you come to us, we'll be able to repair the damage better, and more swiftly. Thanks. EDIT: Apparently, the damage happened so far ago that the backup has been erased. Good job, griefer. Good job to me, too, i should be more present. I can't even take a break for half a week and s***t goes down! damn it. Ok, so we're stuck with manual rebuilding, or do you like if i revert it to a weeks-old backup that i keep in the cookie jar, Mr. Griefer? I trusted you guys. I trusted you.

I'm afraid that was me (in a sense of the word.) Whilst my friend was over I was showing it him in an effort to pursuade him to buy it. I then had the great idea to go pee and when I returned I saw he had blow a large section of the hall up (needless to say I spent a good few hours yelling at him.) I know it sounds abit tall but I assure you it was the truth and that he will NEVER be using my computer again, that said I would understand if you banned me Again, much apologies

That said, if you said it right in that moment, fixing the damage would have been trivial. Now, it's somewhat more difficult than that. I'll still put on BigBrother. Now lay down and wait for the Party Escort Associate. Next time to be forgiven, you need to raise the Moe-content. EDIT: Also, you'll need to genderbend. I mistook you for a girl. As i already forgave you, i can't take it back. Send my most heartfelt curses to your friend. EDIT: Ok, due to some unforeseen problems i'm unable to install BigBrother ATM. Bringing the server up. If you're a good citizen, you should come help me fix along with my trusted collaborators.

make a lifesize replica of Agasa's Minecraft Avatar then take a screenshot. That is penance enough. My minions and I fixed the damage already. You could make a Buddha statue maybe. Or, you know. Make some roads instead. For you all that updated to 1.5: I uploaded my .minecraft folder with 1.4. Substitute your .minecraft folder contents with it. www.mediafire.com/?p46pcrrsbp3ckzaEnjoy. EDIT: I restored the backup plugin, the last update broke it and it was non-functional. Now everything is in order. EDIT EDIT: I just got an idea. Why do not we draw a prototype of the streets and all on the overhead map of the server? and then, we replicate it in game. EDIT EDIT EDIT: I'm laying out a crude building map on the court plains. It's made of diamond, just because nothing else uses diamond right now. Please don't panic if you see weird symbols on the floor plains. And please continue not using diamond to build stuff. it's pretty ugly anyways. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: The host is doing some work, and the server unexpectedly (um, i may have done a false move with a plugin, very sorry i am) went down. Right now, neither goofanader nor me can restart it, because the access interface is being refurbished. Also, apparently now the host servers are under attack by a really dumb guy that thinks he's a great hacker because he's flooding the mysql server with bogus requests, further slowing down everything. Please be patient and don't kill me. Thanks.

I think that is a brilliant idea, anyone know of one of them websites that give you a collaborative drawing board ? as that could be an awesome way to do it that may do the job... Twiddla.com The password is something terribleI think we need a better bg picture though. I just went on the first website I found- if you guys can find a better one we should definitely use that. EDIT: Was also considering Dabbleboard

I frequently go on a site called iScribble that I think would work pretty well. it says iScribble is currently not accepting new members? After a browse through it as a guest I have to say that would definitely be better than the other 2 I found. If not possible to join that iScribble (The Layering and stuff looks a far more intuitive way to do this, So I'd like to get on that...) then the afore-mentioned Twiddla seems best bet. Twiddla.com (The password is something terrible)

Mr. Happy Hacker relented. Server up, and have an happy easter (You too, Tom!) Edit! I'm writing a C# image-to-schematic converter to speed up map deployment. The plugin-based one to use the in-game one was too buggy and bothersome, and devoid of features. You could call this cheating but it's not that i didn't mass-edit the map before. Enjoy what's to come. Edit: I'm almost finished with the utility, save some minor headaches. It works perfectly with some images (for example, coyote from the icon of chapter 20) and it doesn't output nothing on others, especially bigger images. I suspect it's a library gone bonkers.

The program is done! It works by creating a schematic file that you can later inject using the in-game tools (//load,//paste) or better by using MCEdit (for really large schematics this is a must.) I'm currently testing it using an old backup and the map that is on the Twiddla.

I'd prefer if we could get a bit more legible a map on the twiddla, I don't understand the current one at all. Like a full colour one or a isometric.

I've been trying to sketch out a rough map of the school layout (that is, the buildings that are actually part of the school, not the "city"--i.e. library, classrooms, gym, etc., but *not* power station, haircut place, etc.), but I'm having trouble because I just can't figure out the scale. So: does anyone have an opinion on how big the "school" part of the court is?
EDIT: I'm thinking that what with all the labs and stuff, and also rooms that probably go unused, that it's probably around the size of a college/small university (in terms of land area).

The city attached is probably the size of a small city. I think no I hope it rains loads on our map, it's set in an alternative reality Britain after all.

I can update the server to 1.5 now. The only plugins that may or may not work are -WorldEdit -VoxelMore -VoxelSniper -Help
If you need world editing tools, then let me know and I won't update until they get them running with the newest bukkit update.
I'm going to try testing out dynmap on my test server. I tried doing it on the gkc server when I first started it, but it didn't seem to like it. I'll try again.
