Yes please, can we just agree to disagree about this whole "descendant of murderers" thing and actually discuss the comic and/or what we think might happen on Friday? Trying not to be an ass here, but at this point you're really not contributing anything terribly relevant, you're just picking fights with each other

Okay, so you can accuse me of being fine with Jeanne's murder, fine with Nazi's murdering people, and fine with Native American's being murdered even though I gave you no reason to think that. That's rude. When I say you've misunderstood me, you don't even acknowledge it. That's also rude. When I ask you to explain why you thought that, you don't say anything. Rude! I never defined what murder is nor did I say the legal definition of murder is the only acceptable definition. And I hope you guys never get jury duty for a murder trial. "We have no idea if he's guilty because we can't tell the difference, sorry" I never said you were fine with all these crimes. You said, "Murder, as we define it, is a social exception, not the norm." I gave examples of acts that could be construed as murder that were within the norm of the societies or institutions they took place in. Your post certainly does imply that there is a clear definition of murder (killing outside the social norm). I was not saying that you support those killings; I was implying that they were acts of murder, and since they were so pervasive throughout so many societies, it's not hard to imagine that there's a murderer in every family tree. EDIT: Just saw the last two posts. I'm fine with dropping the semantic arguments.

Meanwhile back on topic... Annie has had a strangely emotional day today.

Meanwhile back on topic... Annie has had a strangely emotional day today. And yet, she is so calm. Its really weird. She has had every conceivable emotional string pulled today, and yet she seems totally focused on cheating on her homework. Weird. P.S. Jayne, take some time off! The forum will survive your absence!

Mmm, Annie has always been unflappable to the point of coming across as nearly unemotional. She (normally) only lets her guard down around Kat - when they're alone Annie acts normal. Smiling. Frowning. Doing things other than "Stoic Antimony Face". These flashes of anger seem almost un-Annie-like. It's refreshing to see her using multiple facial expressions

No no.
It's a brain slug. Or a doppelganger. Annie actually secretly worships the Old Ones and they've hollowed her out and replaced her insides with creepy crawlies!
All kidding aside, I'm dieing to know what the heck is up with Annie this chapter.

Its possible the noble Katerina allows Annie to look at her workbook on a regular basis. "Check your answers with mine" not considering Annie might be copying her work entirely. It might have started out that way but then Annie starting filling in answers she couldn't work out on her own. Once you start doing that, its hard to stop. Annie might be lying about Kat giving permission but I'm still going to mark this as "called it"
