No, it makes him angry.

Does that anger transform him into a green hulking Administrator demon?

Probably not, but that would be funny.

This topic is so terrible. I can't imagine why anyone would discuss relationships between characters like this instead of waiting for the next comic.

Though repetitive, this thread wasn't nearly as bad as some of the other threads on the topic, or as bad as other threads on other topics. I can say from personal experience though that one thing that -does- make Tom angry is when he feels that someone is trying to speak for him and say what he thinks. So unless you asked him yourself and he answered, I wouldn't presume to say which threads make Tom angry and which do not.

Which threads? The last thread on this topic wasn't locked because of its *topic*. And recently another thread got locked that had nothing to do with the topic.
Now *this* topic that has just started, not the thread's topic, but rather whether people care about Tom caring about people caring, I'd give it higher odds of causing the thread to be locked. :-)

Because we have to do something to keep ourselves busy while we're waiting for the next comic. Take note, chillins. This forum in a nutshell. In case you were still wondering. It's not that we don't care, it's an addiction, we know daddy is not pleased that we smoke pot, but weeeee juuuuuuust caaaaaaaan't stoooooooooooooooop! Daddy's gonna have to snatch it from my icy death grip. :-) Soon we'll be talking about Tom caring about us caring about Tom caring and the loop will complete itself. Protip: The only thing that angers Tom is killing spiders and interlopers from more unsavory parts of the internet.

In the geekier parts of the internet, this is called " Thread Necromancy". Ironically the conjunction of this term and the thread topic instantly brings to my mind something unusually appropriate (in more than one sense). I'm not going to link it, though; I'm neither crass enough nor willing to participate in this. (Except I just did... )

Regardless of committing the sin of exercising the dark & forbidden art of thread necromancy
Compared to two years ago we now have a whole lot more subtext (plus quite a bit plain text)
Given recent events, especially them becoming roommates (assuming that's still going to happen after this chapter), there's definitely stuff to discuss.
Admittedly a two years dead thread that degraded into a fight about what Tom accepts/dislikes on his forums might be less appropriate for that tan a new one...
As far as I'm aware Tom's just opposed to drawing/writing fan-works that are plainly smut and inappropriate discussion on the forums. Which is just sensible; this is a comic about ~14 year old girls for Coyote's sake.
If I wrote BS such as "They totally should bang 'cause that'd be , like, totally hot, man" then I really shouldn't be surprised if I was banned for it. If I wrote "One of them is into girls and I think they'd make a cute couple" that's a completely different matter.

Meh. I don't see the shipping thing.
I think Annie has had a messed up upbringing. Look at how cold and standoff-ish her dad is. She can't relate to people normally.
Kat like the birds.
Avians. Boy avians. You know what I mean.
