I wasn't sure what to title the thread, but I figured this was appropriate. Especially considering what is about to happen to (probably) multiple characters. Either way, if this is how Zimmy goes it's definitely not how I expected. Indirectly killed by Kat, I suppose, which was her claim. But I personally feel like this fade to black is her doing something that neither Coyote nor Loup are wanting to be a part of.

Panel 4 could look like they're.. merging on the way in to Zimmingham kinda like the Annies were merged on the way out, although this is a lot less intentional.
That is probably not good.

Coyote mistook Zimmy for Kat, so did he know THIS was gonna happen?

The tumult continues to tumble as the mauling snowballs! I'm reminded of an old wildspec that I made wherein the Court could be planning to use Zeta as a countermeasure to Coyote if he ever attacked the Court... by arranging a meeting between the two, or firing her at him as a high-speed projectile if all else failed. I figured she should at least slow him down. Well, if there's one person in the entire Court that could in theory retrieve Lana from the other side of Coyote's jaws, it's the old Zimmiester. This should be good.

In the absence of dialogue or onomatopoeic text, I'd have titled with Tom's comment, as the previous page thread did. (In this case, "Zim".) 🤷♂️
Or has that one been used before, and duplication is avoided?

Yeah, Tom has used Zim and Zimmy as a comment for comics before (at least, I'm pretty sure) since there are a lot of comics where its just her.... usually in agony or making a face of such.
She has a bit of a trend with that, really.
The most important thing about a title is just making sure the correct page number is on it, and that the hyperlink in the post directly links to the comic number and not the newest page. So we should be gucci.
Back on topic though, I almost want to theorize that Zimmy might be ripping Loup apart. Physically or etherically is up in the air, but I'm hoping for the latter for my own greed of getting Ys back.

I'm honestly not entirely sure what just happened in this page but I don't think anyone present WANTED whatever just did to happen. Coyote's smug attitude of thinking he can just keep hurting people until he's course-corrected things might not last once he realizes that he's found the wrong godlike person and has now possibly become trapped by Zimmy in her own universe with a pissed-off Loup still wanting to rip him to shreds.
The only plus to this situation I can see happening is Zimmy just being like "What's that you've got in there?" and casually reaching inside Coyote to yank Lana out.
Apropos of nothing, I wonder if Tom gave Lana her name purely so he could do a shout-out to Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow?, where Lana Lang sacrifices herself defending Superman and he become so enraged upon facing her gloating murderers he nearly kills them, shouting "YOU HURT LANA?" I suppose we'll know if Loup says something similar in the upcoming pages.

Flying high speeds head-first at Zimmy is likely Not A Good Thing. Coyote's perception of her something radiating darkness makes me think she's essentially an ether sink, and here we have beings made of pure ether about to collide with that.

So if Zimmy merges in some way with both, and Annie has to kill Loup, does that mean she kills Zimmy?

I don't have the time to hunt for the page, but back when he and Zimmy weren't good chums I remember Renard saying something along the lines of "do you even know what that creature could do to someone like me?"
Guess we're about to find out.

I wonder if we'll see a two headed canine: one head a coywolf and the other a coyote. They could be anything though. I wonder if Tom has a "Wheel Of Chaos", that he spins every time we go to Zimmyngham. Don't you hate it when you accidentally fall into a puddle of Zimmy? The worst part is taking your stuff to the cleaners, afterwards. You come to pick your items up, and find that the staff has ripped their eyes out. Every time. Good cleaners are hard to find.

I fear Coyote actually included Zimmy in his plan. Getting sucked into Zimmyland is part of that plan. Dunno why exactly (and I'll save my theories for now), but I have to say this is one of the dickier things he's done. Poor Zimmy... What did she ever do to deserve this?

Well, apparently she did something terrible long ago and believes she deserves these terrible things to happen to her. Maybe this very scenario will tell us what she did. Does she deserve it though? Probably not.

Loup's momentum has carried Coyote off the edge of the building he was perched on and down toward the ground, where Zimmy and Gamma are standing, looking up in surprise. Apparently it hasn't occurred to them to move out of the way, or perhaps this has all been happening too quickly. We see a close-up of Gamma and Zimmy – then we see Zimmy from behind, being knocked down by Coyote and Loup colliding with her. Loup's jaws are still wide open. We're seeing only the top of Coyote's head.
And then it gets weird. As if in a mirror to the previous frame, we see what appears to be Zimmy's mouth, wide open, and her upper jaw with her teeth, but below, where the frame fades into blackness, there seem to be impressions of Zimmy's lower teeth, and perhaps her fingers. And then we see a black frame containing a few white hovering impressions of teeth, mostly canine looking.
What is going on here? Well, I find it hard to believe that Zimmy's stress level isn't spiking right about now, and she's clearly being physically touched by both Coyote and Loup, which usually signals that we're about to see things from Zimmy's peculiar point of view. But here we have two very powerful ethereal beings entering into that point of view. Predicting what's going to happen in Zimmingham has always been extremely difficult at the best of times, but this is a situation that's never happened before.
But Coyote, or echo-Coyote, wanted precisely this to happen – at least, in the moment when Loup tackled him. It's likely that looking at Zimmy he realized immediately what she was, because his senses extend naturally into the Ether. He probably realized at that time that she wasn't the "new god" he'd been after (assuming he didn't know it already), but it seems that he saw something here that was beneficial to him and his plan. He made sure Loup would tackle him into Zimmy. I have no idea why, other than that he knows possibly better than Zimmy does how her reality works. What does Coyote want? He wants Loup to figure out his plan and agree that it's the best plan ever so he can die. Considering the tooth/dagger isn't here, that death won't be happening in Zimmingham, so what Coyote's focusing on is a reconfiguration of Loup's goals in the direction Coyote wants. Since Zimmy's reality tends to recontextualize things, Coyote might believe that he'll be able to steer Loup's progress in another direction allegorically.
I still think, though, that Lana is present. We didn't see her inside his mouth in the first frame, but we didn't see far into it. So we'll likely have a Zimmingham scenario in which we have bits of Zimmy, Gamma, Coyote, Ysengrin, and Lana, with the understanding that Loup is already a recombined Coyote and Ysengrin, and Jerrek is a personality Loup assumed but has become comfortable in. I really really look forward to whatever craziness is about to happen.

The tumult continues to tumble as the mauling snowballs! I don't see any snowballs on this page... and what would it mean for a snowball to maul somebody, anyway? Oh, wait.Apropos of nothing, I wonder if Tom gave Lana her name purely so he could do a shout-out to Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow?, where Lana Lang sacrifices herself defending Superman and he become so enraged upon facing her gloating murderers he nearly kills them, shouting " YOU HURT LANA?" I suppose we'll know if Loup says something similar in the upcoming pages. If that's the reference, it's a double reference.

Found since I remembered in this page and the following page, there's a very interestingly similarity in teeth motifs (moteeths?) to the current page.

Interestingly, Annie isn't there, so it's a rare case where we're seeing events from the viewpoint of none of the major characters (meaning Annie, Kat, and Renard). That makes me worry more. What if the next page shows Annie and Renard getting there an undefined amount of time later to find Gamma looking worriedly at an unconscious Zimmy on the ground, and then Zimmy wakes up and says something completely unhelpful like, "Huh," and the chapter's over? I really really don't want that!
