So, who's joining them? I noticed the speech bubble is not as white as Jack's and went back to the Torn Sea to see if it might be the color of Jenny's. And then I realized that Jack's speech bubble was green back then, so maybe it doesn't make much sense looking for colors anyway.

Zimmy has colored speech bubbles. Gamma doesn't speak english. Also, her bubbles match Zimmy's so we're never quite sure which is speaking mentally. Then again, Jack used to have light green speech bubbles and he doesn't here, so we can't entirely rely on that!
Jenny might be an option, though she's sounded a bit gothier and more British in the past. That may be a bad perception on my part. It could be her. I sort of hope so - I found her an interesting character and always wanted to see more of her.
Most of the possibilities wouldn't be so casual - like for example, Jones and the Seraph robots are always sort of stilted.
The only real clue I see here (other than the casual speech pattern) is that Annie seems surprised to see the speaker, whereas Jack is not. So it's probably someone from Jack's side of the house! One of the students he's been working with to figure things out, maybe? Jenny still seems like the best bet to me, if we assume it's someone that hangs with Jack more than with Annie yet is friendly to both. If it's Jenny, I could see her being mildly surprised but pleased enough to see Annie after not seeing her for some time.
Probably not Becky Ground. She likes to stay in the BeckGround.

Well, yes, the speaker probably is Jenny. ... but it's fun to speculate, and our first meeting with Jack shows he has other standing acquaintances. Will and Janet are possibilities as well. |

More importantly, what if we assume thats not the general veiw of humans in the Court. Plenty of people in the Court probably aren't super suspicious of the Court. With the chaos magic is currently causing, it isn't hard to believe people without magic would be open to getting the heck out of dodge. Might be a bigger group of travelers then I first thought.

You mean Zimmyham, being tracked when he went a bit crazy, the power station and the robots going nuts on a boat? I dunno, without other context/incidents I dunno if that puts the Court in a super suspicious light, and that's just for Jack. The incidents that really have me suspicious of the Court aren't really known outside the core group. If I didn't know about Omega, the Court tracking and blackmailing Tony, and the old Court killing, I'd believe this could be a regular (morally questionable) plan, as opposed to an evil plan. |

I just don't think the average court citizen has the same knowledge and reasons to be suspicious as we do. |

Well we know that Jack has seen a lot of what was going in in the court's computer files that they don't talk about. That's how he knew about the food tracking thing. Who knows what else he picked up in there?
The fact that he's aware of Loup (by name) and other current events makes me think he hasn't given up that access.  |
