What's happening on this page still doesn't help Annies, only makes it worse.

One of them is wearing Eglamore's shirt, so that must be Eglamore. Not sure about the one with the beard though. Looking forward to this chapter being DELIGHTFULY awkward!

Well, 'Id' seems an apt nickname.

This just went from bad to worse to hilarious in a blink of an eye. Looking at Annies' faces this is going to be yet another thing they will need to work out with their future therapist.

Not sure whether Id is being blissfully ignorant of human mores, or just basking in the Annies' embarrassment. Either way, this is gonna be fun.

Not sure whether Id is being blissfully ignorant of human mores, or just basking in the Annies' embarrassment. Either way, this is gonna be fun. Neither, I think: she is marking what she consider to be her territory. That some would get embarassed at the delivery is just a side effect, which in a happy coincidence only makes the message sink in more. That Eglamore would get embarassed - which he well might, he definitely looks surprised in panel 4 - does not matter either; he has already been staked and claimed and he knows it, and he knows everybody else knows it too, and Idra knows that everybody knows that everybody knows. And she did not even actually say anything. (Edit: and if somebody objects, she can always play innocent: wait what, you humans DON'T do it this way?) Smooth move, Idra. Smooth indeed. Your smug grin in the last panel is fully justified.

So Eglamore lives together now with Idra and this bearded muscular guy? Must be fun.

I feel like I missed a development at some point. So is he and Jones done? Is it that Jones doesn't care and that was always their deal? Did Jones ever come back from space even?

The Eglamore gag is getting old. The oldest jokes are the bestest jokes! I feel like I missed a development at some point. So is he and Jones done? Is it that Jones doesn't care and that was always their deal? Did Jones ever come back from space even? Jones came back from space here. The last time we saw here was looking very dishevelled after a high speed re-entry into the atmosphere. We haven't seen how the 6 months away has affected her and Eglamore's relationship though. I think their relationship has never been a romantic thing, when we saw Jones' past, her relationships with people were always of the observer role, being a partner to someone without any romantic connotations to it. I don't think Jones would really care that much whether Eglamore had a romantic partner or not, however I imagine that her presence would be very off-putting to any actual potential partners, and certainly is one of the things that annoyed Surma and one of the reasons why she left Eglamore to be with Tony.

Oh nice, I forgot about that. I imagine that Jones wouldn't care. I was thinking more whether Eglamore was seeing her exclusively as her "ward" or whether he had taken other lovers over the years, especially since she was with her previous to his death. The implications of Jones' relationships/protectorates are fascinating and creepy, hopefully there'll be more.

On the bright side.
If Eggers was wearing his shirt, Idra wouldn't. And then where would we be?

Also, seems like the differences between Annies keeps piling up, since Court!Annie got the sweat drop of shame(?) on her face, while Forest!Annie only gets the mortified face...

Well, this is it. Another closure of medium-level thread: It is a classic, where the overly-obsessed ex/friend gets some and suddenly decides that all is well in the Universe.

On the bright side. If Eggers was wearing his shirt, Idra wouldn't. And then where would we be? Using a different camera angle, presumably. ... Which gets me thinking: is this the first Court-Forest couple since Jeanne and her man? What will the repercussions be? Could there be another elopement in the near future? Or will the Court be more accepting this time, thus (symbolically, at least) taking another step toward healing the divide?

I'm not OP but MY other two favorite moments are Coyote getting Spankies, and Parley and Smitty getting together. Or actually anytime they interact.

And here Eglamore wishes, for the first and possibly last time in his entire life, that he could just pull a "Tony" (i.e., leave the room like nothing even happened and refuse to break Antimony's image of him). Unfortunately, his old rival's secret techniques remain unknown by poor Jimmy-Jims, so on the next page I predict that he will have no choice except to literally explode from sheer humiliation. Oh well, he had a good run, I guess.
Edit: On a somewhat related topic, does Eglamore know that Annie knows about his old nickname?
