I'm sure there's an innocent explanation for this. But I'm not prepared to believe it. [edit] Is it odd that the first thing about the last panel that jumped out at me was Idra's right (c)ankle? [/edit]

Enjoy the current tranquility... when the rest of the internet wakes up and reads today's comic there will be r34 incoming.
Also: The sadist in me kinda hopes that, in the small talk which will follow, Idra asks the Antimonies to explain the pet name Eglamore gave her: "My Viridian Surma." ...because that would just be perfect. [edit] Sure, this situation is awkward, but mostly because Eggers is/was Antimonies' teacher, he once dated their mum, and the Antimonies are still a bit young for this sort of thing. Now, Eggers referring to Idra in some way as a replacement for or improvement on Surma would push it to the next level. [/edit]

Wee fire-headed babs come to see Uncle Eggs. Idra would be very good for Eglamore, and hopefully, the reverse would hold true as well (though the old Crust-in-Chief probably wouldn't like their union)

OK, ok, but also no no no. Isn't she more about daughter-age for Eggsies? Do we even know Idra's age? She's just CLEARLY feeling very at home, even so much, Eggers had to force her to cover up (Idra's family believe in as-much-skin-contact-with-the-air to hear the voice of Nature in calm times)! No wait, that's not really better, is it?
Annies! Get your eyes back in your sockets!

Also, looking forward to what Jones thinks about all this.

Hey, finally a ship that Eggers isnt going to get shouted at for Also, I think if this is a thing, it started from Idra. She is the kind of woman that takes the initiative on whatever she does. Rare, yet fun.

Heh. I wonder how Annies are going to react. Now they did not like Eglamore assisting them, but he did assist them. With his attention now directed elsewhere... they could actually get jealous.
And hopefully it would act as another reason for them to learn to stand on their own better. Right now it's really a coin toss whether they perform or melt under pressure.

Well, let no one say that sir Eglamore is not a man of his word. Not gonna lie, half of me is miffed that Idra is no longer a viable romantic interest for Annie. But then, the other half of me is glad that Eggers is getting some, so... I guess that's even?

What the actual eff has Eggers done to his hairstyle and skin tone?
Obvious jokes aside, Mr. Dragon Slayer has come some way from reacting to someone coming from the forest with "Why are you just letting her run around?" to accommodating them in his house and probably his bedroom as well. Does the Court Admin know about this?
And so as not to only talk about relationships, anyone got an idea why Annies were headed to Eglamore's place? Might be about the lake water, but I would have expected them to meet somewhere else in that case, not him inviting them to his home.

Everyone jumping to assumptions that Eggers may have gotten more intimately involved with Indra, but I think it is more plausible Idra has just got a bed in his house and got awake by the bell. After all she is saying the Annies are early. Perhaps elves are nightowls?

I think that the shorter-haired Annie has the right idea: focus on getting the lake water, then solving the Loup problem. They'll have time to sort out the other problems afterwards, but it won't matter how much progress they make on solving those while there's a mad wolf-god threatening the entire Court.

Yeah, Annie's full name is Antimony Barbara Carver. If it wasn't before, it should be now. * The obligatory "That Guy sure has changed (into a woman)" joke has already been made; so I'll just say I like how cartoony Annies' bug eyes are. Either this story winds its way back around to Kat somehow, or the preview image is a photo on Egg's desk.

I chose to interpret this as a relationship between Eglamore and Idra. Eglamore deserves some joy in his life. Idra also does.

But then, the other half of me is glad that Eggers is getting some, so... I guess that's even? Also, from the previous page, Court Annie blushed at Eglamore's compliment, but Forest Annie didn't - and was even puzzled as to why Court Annie did. I feel like, after the initial sameness of their reaction to Idra, there's going to be some disparity, possibly because of relationship developments that Forest Annie was not around for.

I feel like Tom is trolling us like he did with Jenny.
But I don't want it to be the case.
Not that I ship Eggs and Idra, but just for the glorious awkwardness that would ensue between Eggs and the Annies, bonus points for Idra running her mouth and making everyone even more uncomfortable. I can see it in my head and it's amazing.
