Arthur: *wakes in new brain* "AH! THE VOID! All encompassing. Never ending. There's nothing when we're turned off! Nothing. Nothing! Ah! Ahhhh!" Kat: *chuckles* "All the test robots did the same thing. What a weird error message, right?" Carver Twins: "... " We really don't have much info, on the tests and prep that Kat has done. This could go terribly wrong, or it could go smoothly. Of course, everything going right could be the real horror. Meh, we've heard a description of what happens when robots are turned off. (I can't find it, but it was when the earlier-generation robot in Jeanne's Tomb was explaining to Kat what robots feel is their purpose.) It's the closest concept they have to death, but they're aware of it; it doesn't seem to be horrifying nothingness. I agree that the real horror is everything going perfectly right.

If the thing that goes wrong *is* the force field going down because waking Arthur up interfered with it, it could lead to "Why is it that every time we try helping a pair of star-crossed lovers, it jeopardizes the Court by removing one of its defences?"

Wildspec: the transferrance works as intended, Arthur and Juliette live happily together. That is so wild it is not even spec any more.

To be fair, large parts the Court are full of Forest creatures right now anyway because of their root access (get it? root access!), and the Court has overridden lots of robots already.

Wildspec: the transferrance works as intended, Arthur and Juliette live happily together. This is canon in the happyverse.
