PS, if anyone else would like to add to this, turning sad pages into happy or happy pages into sad, then I say do eeeeet. Both the Goodyverse and the Brutalverse need expanding!

How about...the utterly mundane? (Or is this more of an "opportunity"?) Anthony resets Enforce Legal Characters to 1. Antimony is unable to advance to the next module.

How about...the utterly mundane? Mundane?! Nothing is more X-TREME than role-playing games! It's why they share the same acronym with rocket-propelled grenades.

*strongly tempted to not read the supposedly REAL comic anymore, but just to live HERE in the lovely, wonderful, mahvelous State of De Nile.* I believe in alternate universes! I do, I do!

*strongly tempted to not read the supposedly REAL comic anymore, but just to live HERE in the lovely, wonderful, mahvelous State of De Nile.* I believe in alternate universes! I do, I do! But if this is all you read, then it isn't an alternate universe anymore. How can you appreciate what is here if you don't know what is there? What is light without dark, good without evil, the GKC forum without the Butt Zone?

I wish I could find a clip of the lovely scene in Deep Space Nine where Rom tries to figure out the alternate universe, and succeeds only in getting his brain all wonkified and everyone looking at him funny. That would be me!

Please keep doing this till the end of (time) the comic Eventually he is going to use up his stash. Which reminds of a really old joke... What does a Grateful Dead fan say after the pot is gone? "Hey, this band sucks!"

Please keep doing this till the end of (time) the comic Haha, well, at the very least I plan on doing it fairly regularly until the end of this chapter. Hopefully the next chapter isn't so heartrending that it requires happyfication! After that? Might start going back and applying the cheer to previous super-sad pages.

Usually I enjoy myself while catching up on a comic I've been away from for a while, but the recent pages have been a bit dis-spiriting. Thankfully, I have this wonderful support group on the boards whose happyverses can keep me comfortably sunk in denial until Antimony gets along well with her father and Mort returns from his state of advanced mortality. You guys are pretty cool in my book!

The Anarch, thank you kindly. That is a ray of sunshine. Which in turn is deepening the shadow that is the real thing. Don't get me wrong, I love the Alterniverse here...but it makes the real one all the more heartbreaking, not just intellectually knowing a better outcome could have existed, but actually seeing it in comic form drives the difference home.

This might fit better in this thread rather than the page thread... 4. Space, space, gotta go to space. SPAAACE! ** ** Wouldn't it be nice to hear Anthony saying Wheatley's apology
