 I totally new this was what they meant. But I wouldn't have expected Kat to take it that well. Expected shock, repulsion and resistance, maybe turning the offer down initially (maybe it happened too, but we are yet to see it). While it is all joy and happiness, it also kind of seems to turn parts of the prophecy less probable. Maybe.

I totally new this was what they meant. But I wouldn't have expected Kat to take it that well. Expected shock, repulsion and resistance, maybe turning the offer down initially (maybe it happened too, but we are yet to see it). While it is all joy and happiness, it also kind of seems to turn parts of the prophecy less probable. Maybe. It's been a few days - if they've been working together a bit, we've probably skipped over the awkwardness and the resistance to the part where they discover that Anthony makes some killer biomechanics jokes. |

Which is currently his daughter's soul, who he does not in fact want to kill. If he is still going down that road, it's to save his daughter, not his wife. But I fail to see how Kat's research would help even Annie, for the same reason of it not being a body related problem, and I don't think that's why he's involved. |

Then let us not forget how Anthony already made clear how much clever-good marks-well behaved Kat is much more desirable as a daughter than his actual disappointing daughter. I just hope they manage to... I don't know, talk? I'm not sure how much more drama I can take on that front. |

On the plus side, Anthony is known to go against the Court's wishes from time to time. I think it had more to do with shame though. He didn't know he could get his wife back until they told him so, and after he found out they lied to him, he felt even more shame. This page could kinda describe what probably happened: The more he beat himself up about the situation, the harder it was for him to make amends. (I recognise this type of behaviour in myself sometimes, not the greatest personality trait..) Now that doesn't excuse what he did, but, it isn't as straightforward as you put it. Also, why do you think Kat's research won't help? We may not yet know how Anthony's own research might fast forward Kat's stuff.. |
