Guess who.Well. Annie should find this simple. And once again, information galore. You may want to hold back a little, Tom. Nice art as well. The linework and shading in the 2nd panel is gorgeous.

What. This is getting a bit silly. I can see it just fine.
Look, maybe everyone should come back in another 10 to 15 minutes when the comic finally stabilizes a bit. It's very on and off right now, seemingly. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not.

Yeah, I've had it not show up for maybe an hour after the first comments on it are posted. Just hold your horses, check back later. It isn't going anywhere.

Here's another mirror of the page if anyone is still having trouble. (Removed now that the main page is updated.)
I had to pull up Graphic Smash in Safari; it loads just fine in that program, but there was no picture at all when I viewed it with Firefox.
Jones has surprising connections.
"A being of the etherium." So is the etherium related to the aether?

Could someone maybe refer this problem to Tom. Seems that it might be bad for business if the strip doesn't load correctly.
I wonder how long Jones might have known about Mort.

Someone posted it in the Questions to Tom thread. He knows, and it's out of his hands anyway. Graphic Smash's fault. I looked around the forums a bit, and it seems that lots of pages there are suffering intermittent image disappearance. So I assume they know and are trying to fix it.

In the second to last panel, it looks like George is freaking out a little.

Haha, I wonder if Jones is aware that Mort and Annie are the biggest pals. I think she's in for a surprise.

I didn't know you spoke Malay. Which parts are you from? Koala Lumpier. ;D I like how tis such a nice update time for us. she probably is completely aware. Jones sees all I would not be surprised that Jones know a great deal about Annie's past exploits. Robots, shadows, Paz's haunted circus, Rey, best-friend's bird brain boyfriend, more robots, again robots, mediums and the such. Were it possible, I do wanna see the kinds of things that would shock Jones. There has to be SOMETHING that would freak her out the way GTA did to Annie. BTW, truly there still hasn't been any direct indication of Jones' abilities... lest awesome kung-fu is a mediation skill.

I love Parley's expression and Annie's smile. Smith doesn't really seem to be leaning one way or the other with meeting Mort. Well, this should be easy enough for Annie then.

"Hi Annie! I brought you flowers!" said Mort.

Further evidence of Jones' neutrality: she points out the failings of both the forest-folk and the faculty, equally.
I wonder what Parley and Smith's response will be when/if they find out that Annie and Mort already know each other. (I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jones somehow already knew - and even if she doesn't, I doubt we'll see a reaction from her.)

After the last strip, I was expecting them to visit the headmaster...
Now that Jones has arranged a meeting with Mort, how about Annie offering to arrange a meeting with, say, Ketrak ? ;D

She's a Gunnerkrigg gal through and through, she just knows that the folks doing the talking have to be well informed. And maybe (we'll see sooner or later) she might be taking a gamble and hoping that a Court and a Forest that are best friends forever will be a good solution. But don't hold me to that wimpy sissy talk

Have I mentioned that I heart Jones? The buildup of expectations is wondrous; she TOTALLY knows Mort is silly, and she made him sound overwhelming and vastly amazing on purpose.

Even if Jones doesn't know about Mort and Annie, I doubt her expressión would be more than a stare or an "interesting"...
Mort looks so funny in the last pannel, can't quite point what makes me laugh...but it does.

I can just see it now.
Mort: "Hello Annie! It's nice to see you again!"
Annie: "Why hello again. -pleasant smile-"
Jones: "Interesting."
