Those Seraphim are definitely terrifying now.

Alright, it looks like everything that's not people is converted to a zimmy version? I'm guessing that it's because people have their own etheric presence which resists change. Nobodies are the Zimmy version of people without that etheric presence.
edit: There are so many holes in this theory already that shooting it down is a waste of ammunition. Pretend all I said was:

All aboard...!?
Uh oh! If those are the Seraphims, then what has the Ship and its sailor-bots become?

Gamma is not having fun here. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE (S13s) EXPECTED.

Oh my god this chapter. I'll be surprised if this isn't a two-parter, given the usual length.
(And will we see Kat in Angel form???)

Oh, okay. Good. That's not completely terrifying or anything. No reason to panic though, I mean after all, the robots may be much fleshier now (maybe) but that doesn't mean they're suddenly any more dangerous than they were before.
Actually, just to be safe, I think now would be the time to get to the toy shop.
You know, considering literally everyone in Queslett at Zimmy's grade just got sucked into her head, I wonder if people are going to start actively resenting her after all this. I mean, I know she wasn't exactly anyone's favorite before, but I just sorta get the feeling this isn't the type of thing you just let bygones be bygones about. I hear warping reality is a good way to go from "That creepy girl" to "That red-eyed monster".

Hm. Zimmy's reality distortion does not, I think, directly warp other minds. I mean, the place is plenty enough to get you commited in a rather short time, but it is mostly an indirect effect. I wonder how that works with robots (that might have something to do with where the appliance/person line actually is). I wonder if we will see at least one Gigerian monstrosity acting and talking like a typical Court robot would. Too bad it would probably go too much against the general mood of the scene ;-) Edit: actually, it might be even more terrifying. We'll see.

There's a thought. Unless I missed a page, that Whiteleg nest hasn't exactly been burned yet, has it? I wonder if the number of those is equal or greater than the number of students. Somehow I doubt Annie's ability to deal with a couple hundred students acting like Jack did.

Now that the transformation to flesh has been completed, it is time for the feast to begin!

Hmm, yes yes, those last two panels are so terrifying, I'm not sure I even want to see the next page... (just kidding, of course I want to)
Zimmygham looks so crooked, I hope the toyshop is even there. And if it's there, I hope it can be found/accessed...

That said, were it not for the whole everything being warped and its pesky denizens, I wouldn't mind the décor too much. Brown is one of my favourite colours.

Wow, Zimmingham sure was messed up by this happening at sea, it seems. Buildings & railroads jutting out of the water at random angles & directions, the sea as the sky... and poor Gamma is all alone and possibly caged up. :C
Also, those (presumably) Seraphs sure are going heavy on the bird/angel theme there, what with the beaks, wings, & claws.

All aboard...!? Uh oh! If those are the Seraphims, then what has the Ship and its sailor-bots become? The Seraphims are close to the originals who are made with very likely Ether 'magic'. The new ones are not and are so maybe not into Zimmingham. Is this maybe also a problem with robot if he cams white the rescue party?

Somehow I doubt Annie's ability to deal with a couple hundred students acting like Jack did. I'm not quite sure what this thing other people have with expecting the Whitelegs to come back. I thought their story had been dealt with already. Tom has stated before that there are far more dangerous things in Zimmingham than the Whitelegs. Also calling it now that Winsbury and Janet end up in some trouble together or saving each other from something and their relationship finally gets out in the open too. The secrecy thing was funny, but come on, they're teenagers now!

Silent Hill, meet R'lyeh.
Now, do those jagged claw-things in the first panel belong to the now organic ship? Also, where is Lindsey when you need her?

Those Seraphim are definitely terrifying now. I'm going on a limb here...I think Zimmy doesn't like them. All aboard...!? Uh oh! If those are the Seraphims, then what has the Ship and its sailor-bots become? Clockwork rats in these sewers? There's a thought. Unless I missed a page, that Whiteleg nest hasn't exactly been burned yet, has it? I wonder if the number of those is equal or greater than the number of students. Somehow I doubt Annie's ability to deal with a couple hundred students acting like Jack did. She didn't "deal with it" the first time, she mumbled and shuffled until it was almost too late. That was the point...

Things are starting to look non-euclidean. That's not good. What's that red thing in the background of panel 3? It kinda stands out, might be important, likely not. If the silhouettes are indeed the Seraphs, they look more like their original model now, but I'm not sure where the bird motif comes in. Random theory: This could provide a connection to the TicTocs. TicTocs are Seraphs or robots in general that were twisted through Zimmyngham, and then retroactively send back to the Court. Kat's now in Zimmyngham too, is she still herself or her Zimmyvision-Techno-Angel-form? Tom's comment on that page also brings to mind Zimmy's "prophesy". Things don't look good, the bots are playing with forces they likely don't fully understand. Could this be "One Day", where Zimmy goes out in a heroic sacrifice?

I thought it was part of the ship, but looking back at www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=1386 there isn't a T-shaped stack on the ship, much less a red one. Edit: It kind of looks like a keel on a racing yacht. And red is a common paint color for the hull below the waterline. I didn't think cruise ships had keels like that, but I really don't know. Maybe it means that down is up in this version of Zimmingham. This certainly looks more distorted than previous versions of Zimmingham.

I was expecting the Seraph robots to be slaughtered by the horrors of Zimmy's world, but this may be more fitting - corrupted instead, to apparently become more demon-like. (And demons are traditionally fallen angels - and "Seraph" is a term for a specific kind of angel.)
I hope that the other kids *won't* hate Zimmy for this; it wasn't her fault that this happened, but that of a group of robots who thought that they could safely harness her powers and couldn't. (Did they not read the entrie entry on Zimmy in the Court records? Or does even the Court not realize just how dangerous her abilities are?)

It looks like it's part of the ship, but it is not a part that was visible in any previous pages and we've seen pretty much the whole thing.

Oh, and I am grateful that Tom didn't put an "end-of-chapter" antimony symbol in the bottom corner (to be followed by a Treatise page and then two weeks of City Face), as I'd feared in my comments on the thread for the previous page. With a situation like this unfolding (especially not only the robots' new forms and Zimmy's nightmare world fusing with the ship, but also that panel of a presumably-imprisoned, terrified Gamma) I don't think any of the readers would have accepted even the best-written "City Face" strips ever as a hiatus.

I don't think that any kids outside of those that actually know a thing about zimmy would have even the remotest idea what just happened.
I'd be more worried about a school-wide outbreak of whitelegs than an upswing in zimmyphobia
