Just curious, what sort of outfit do you see as more in-character for her? I don't know... I suck at clothes. I think some sort of loose sleeveless top and jeans. Maybe even bell bottom jeans ^^ and she could have a hair pins or something. Basically... kind of like her outfit in the beginning of the chapter but fancier. In other news, I just remembered that I am a master of microsoft paintI think that's really cute.

Women's dress shirts tend to have all of these patterns and frills I feel so awkward in. <_< >_> I fully believe that someone's sense of style is their own but... But I just... All I can think is "it looks like she's wearing a fluffy hot pink Christmas tree."

Maybe she's just shy and doesn't want to be seen, so she's wearing a huge black slab before her face and tries to hide behind a fluffy hot pink Christmas tree that just happened to be there?

You know, I got through this comic (and about two thirds of the thread) before I realized that Annie still doesn't know that Kat and Paz are dating; apparently Paz forgot for a second too! Did anyone else forget this? This is going to get awkward REALLY fast. No, Annie knows, but think - she has no one else to go to the dance with. Kat is really her only (school) friend at the moment. Plus it's a school dance, it'd be different if they were going clubbing and Annie invited herself along. As long as Annie can give them space when they need it, and everybody stays chill, it should turn out alright. Also, this page. Oh, bandersnatch!. Forgot about that page. Thanks! She's clearly going to have some trouble though; she's too relationally clueless not to! (Though she is learning).

For family events, my mother would always expect me to wear a dress, .... My mom really likes it when I look like a girl, though. Maybe Anja would be more understanding. So your mom thinks you should wear a dress to look like a girl? I think your mom needs help.

I suppose one person's tree angel is another person's severed head.

Kind of like how, because Queen Victoria felt the need to stretch her back during the Hallelujah Chorus everyone's still bouncing to their feet during it today. :D True or not? Your guess, or research I suppose but I'm too lazy today. King George II dozed off at a performance and, woken by the opening of the HC, thought it was the conclusion so stood to leave — according to the legend I read first. The origin of the practice seems to be an amusing story whichever version you find — I've never seen anything with evidence to back it. However, the practice of standing for the Hallelujah Chorus was being commented on in the later 1750s, so well pre-dating Victoria, whatever the actual origin.

When you're the king, you aren't embarrassed to be doing something different [like standing up before everyone else]. Other people are embarrassed to be doing what you're not.
