In no particular order of significance here is a fun little poll! Please select up to five characters you identify with in the comic and for an added bonus share why!

Whoops. Didn't know that thread existed. Don't worry, this one has a Jack option for me to check, which is automatically an infinite improvement.

D'oh. I am way, way behind on my sleep schedule this week. I have fallen so far behind that I've entered a new sort of twilight zone where reality and dreams intersect. Apparently after going for 72 hours with only eight or nine hours of sleep, even a full nights rest can't even touch the sleep-hole I have dug. I want to find whoever invented night shifts and do something mean and nasty to their grave. Human bodies weren't meant to function this way goddamit!

Yo, why isn't Bud on that list? I think some people might have trouble identifying with a powerfully psychic extra-dimensional sentient crab married to an eldritch horror that would put Lovecraft into hysterics and is also an engineer. But that might just be me. I'll try not to be too narrow-minded.

Curious how many people identify with "The Rock" Jones.

They invented it, so they are probably uniquely positioned to survive its rigors. Ordinary humans, on the other hand, it turns into zombies/tweakers in less than four shifts. (This is ok I guess)(I need the hours...)(I am beyond sleep)(ZALGO, HE COMES)

Yo, why isn't Bud on that list? Because I ran out of new slots to put characters into before I got to him. I am sure there are others I forgot. (I don't think Lindsey made it on either.)

Kat, Zimmy, George, Rey, and a little bit of Red. And maybe a little bit of Mort too.

I can't stick with just one I have to pick 3 here Reynardine - because I'll do anything for the woman I love James Eglamore - because I am protective of the ones I love and I'll do whatever is necessary to protect them Ysengrin - because sometimes I shutter my potential by cocooning myself in what I am familiar, that how I interprete his "wood shell". Also his relation with Coyote reminds me of my relation with my family, I can feel powerless compared to them (more like penniless XD) and because of that I shutter myself when they act in a way it displeases me and I am to rational to allow myself to get mad at them and later I can get mad at someone else. So I see a couple of my personality flaws in him (working on fixing those), but there are parts of him I like, such as his lust for violence, seen on his smile when he attacks the monsters in the forests to teach Annie how to be stronger.

You can pick up to five options on this poll! For myself I selected three: Zimmy - because sometimes the world feels so hopeless, senseless, and alien to me that I just want to shut down completely and/or see everything crumble and when I get like this my mood tends to spill over into everyone around me. Coyote - is the playful side of my personality that just wants to see everything around me as a lark and views the universe as a thing that exists for my entertainment. Jones - because I often feel like an observer and an outsider even with the people I am closest to and I sometimes have to work to feel normal in social situations.

I perfectly understand your reasons, just want to point that it's odd how you identify both with Coyote and Jones who would be complete opposites XD

Renard. For one, I could use the sentence “I fell in love with a human female and look where it got me” in almost the exact same context.
And Zimmy, though I can’t quite explain why. Maybe it has something to do with me being insufferable to everyone except the person closest to me.

I actually see Jones and Coyote as two sides of the same coin in many ways. Complimentary rather than contradictory but both motivated by curiosity as much as anything else. Coyote expresses his curiosity by being an exuberant and active participant in the universe he inhabits... acting as an overt catalyst for change that often results in mayhem. Jones, although more frequently acting as the observer, does intervene in the activities around her when it suits her... her provocations are often analytical (as opposed to Coyote who is pure impulse.) However, she is just as interested in dropping a stone into still water to see what effect the ripples will have as Coyote is. (Although, in his case it is more often a boulder.)

She is, hands down, my favorite on so many levels.

I choose Dr.Disaster because I am as smooth as him and I choose other for Robes guy because I am also a large centipede monster.

Interesting trend at the moment: Anthony has six votes whereas Surma has none. Any ideas about this trend? (Could it be that being emotionally distant and disconnected from your daughter is more relatable and forgivable than betraying Rey?)
