Ohhh haha. I was right, it was a simple joke. This whole time I was thinking,"Nerds won't give the internet up? They wont let it down?" Thank you Casey. I hope everyone wont think of that song when looking at it.

I guess I'll start by saying hello to everyone here! This is my first post, as I just looked at the forums for the first time today (I've already viewed all the fan art).
I got into GKC two days before page 16 of Chapter 22 was posted, and was caught up on that day.
Since then I've gotten even more into this comic, and my friends finally convinced me to post a watercolor I'd done for my art class. I'll post that as soon as I get it scanned into the computer.
Meanwhile, I'd like to comment on previous art real quickly.
fuzzysocks, where ever in the world you disappeared to, LOVE IT!
Riese, LOVE IT!
Eggie, strange, but love it!
New members, lots of budding (and blossoming) talent.
Everybody else who's names I cannot recall- excellent!
For those senior members like fuzzysocks who disappeared, I beg you to come back!

I almost forgot!
Yin, as long as you're doing avatars, panel 5, pg 10, ch 23 (the most recent page as of today). Renard is so adorable!

Would a senior member please show me how to place a picture in a post from My Pictures? Meanwhile, here's a link to the pic on Deviant Art, but I'd like it to be here on this forum. acnornlandeth.deviantart.com/art/It-s-Been-Taken-Care-Of-126859191I know it's nothing fantastic, but I was told to submit it. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure all of the tarot cards have been claimed, but if there's one left (I'll check), I'll claim it. Since I won't be forced into watercolor, it'll be better than my first submission.

Take a look in your message composition options for the [ img ] tag. Putting that around your URL should do the trick, I think. (Make sure it links directly to the image file, though, not a URL.)

You might have to wait a while- I prefer to do avs in order, and I'm still doing chap. 20. Plus RL is pretty busy. Nothing to restrict other people from doing icons though

For now I'll just leave it on Deviant Art.

Sorry Ancorn... I probably wasn't specific enough. You can right click on any picture on the internet, and choose Copy Image Location. As long as the site allows hotlinking, the URL that you get from that can be stuck inside image tags, which are [ img ] without the spaces, and put into your post. For example I've done it here with the smaller version of your picture: What I actually typed was: [ img ]http://th07.deviantart.net/fs46/300W/f/2009/173/0/7/It__s_Been_Taken_Care_Of__by_acnornlandeth.jpg[ /img ] again without the spaces in the img tags. The URL is the one I got by the process I outlined above. Hope that helps!

Doing something from My Pictures or another file directory in your computer means you need to host it on the internet. I like TinyPic a lot. Try and save your pictures as .png or .gif files or anything you want except .jpg/JPEG.

photobucket is also a good free image host: www.photobucket.com. Imageshack is another free host as well, which provides the option of posting a thumbnail that links to the larger image. Just google "free image hosting" and you'll have a good start.

I wouldn't recommend photobucket, you keep seeing "Image removed/deleted" if they get a bit old, same for imageshack. Noelshack never failed me.

Hi everybody! My first posting here, although I've been following GC ever since the very first several chapters (forgot when, exactly). As to image hosting, I personally prefer using www.xs.toAnd to Sommer I totally *adore* your avatar (Oops... I forgot to upload mine... it's something I almost always use everywhere else... so sorry it's not GC...)

Klex, I haven't had that kind of problem at all. I had my original Photobucket account for a couple of years, and not one piece got deleted. I think it's more a case of activity level. If none of them are hotlinked or actually linked at all, they probably would delete them then. I'm only on my new account cause I lost the password for the old one. *shrug*

Hopefully the next page won't take as long. [/img][/quote] Wow. That was so untrue. Sorry for taking so long to draw this, but for those that were waiting, here you go. Hopefully I can get this rolling a bit faster now.

Artwork by Tom Siddell. Crayon butchery and general texture wonkiness by me.

I think this needs to be posted. Acnorn made this on my computer using Garry's mod, and I think it qualifies as fan art. Also, I would like to state my opinion that it is just terrible. P.S. HELLOOOOO

Now you know I need to make Robox and weld him and Boxbot together to make Boxbox.

That a VERY nice picture, A. Fox. Good enough to manage to lure me out of lurking to tell you how good it looks, in fact.

Very interesting picture, A. Fox. What medium is that you're working in?

@ Fuin ~ thanks :3
@ Riess ~ It's essentially photoshop. A scanned bit of cardboard and probably about 500 or so cut out layers that have had the colors and levels messed with and drop shadows added. It's a really time intensive process but it always turns out pretty neat.

Agent Fox -- It's really cool, but giving Antimony a chest like that looks weird. Besides, I can't imagine Annie wearing anything with that much cleavage. She's much too modest, I think.
