Playing with acrylic paints lately. Doodled a little Coyote in the corner of the canvas I'm using to test colors/mixes on. He doesn't look pleased.  |

What happened to people posting fan art here? Why was the most recent post from over a year ago? Anyway, I was going to ink this, but halfway through the sketching process decided to just paint under the second sketch layer, which is why the lines are wobbly and not super clean. Also, if this doesn't look enough like Zimmy to any of you, there are two reasons why that might be the case: first is my style is fairly different from Tom's, second is I did this referenceless, having only looked at the current page's last panel twice before I made this painting. You can click the image to see an alternate version, with her eyes visible.

I drew some fan art I’d like to share If all you see is a Quick Reply box at the bottom of this thread, just click the Reply button in the top-right of it and it’ll send you to the more complex post creation page. The icons are displayed in that. You then click on the icon that looks like this  . A pop-up will appear and it’ll have a text box next to “Image URL:”. You paste the link the image is hosted on in that textbox, then click Insert Image below it. It should become encoded and you can post it. |

I like the mix of textures too, the sweater looks kinda watery, but her hair is real crisp and nicely done. The only (very) minor issue I'd take with it is, I know its part of the "style" chosen, but Annie in the comic rarely looks this "little girl lost, deer caught in the headlights" fearful. Nicely done tho! |
