Well, even if Annie didn't see it was Paz, she was wearing a girl's uniform. So she knows Kat was kissing another girl.
I don't think we know why topless Jones was in Divine...
From this page Annie seems to be unaware of the concept of homophobia.
Possibly justifiable; before coming to the court she mostly had contact with her mum, dad, may be hospital staff and various more or less ancient aspects of Death.
None of them seem too likely to tell her of the Evulz of the Gayz...
Still seems a little far fetched, especially if Renard's assertions of the outside world are correct.

I suspect that the next page will be Annie asking what Kat meant by 'freaked out', asking why she thought that "So... uh... you thought I may be freaked out because you're seeing someone who is... not a bird?"  I think she's just straight up not aware of the concept of homophobia. It is kind of hard to imagine Antimony hanging out in a community infested with yaoi fangirls, isn't it? Given that regional fairies seem to be her limit of patience for loud loonie company, and only because they are funny (in Foley she eventually hit the eject button). Heh. I guess next update we find out if Renard was able to help pre-insert Kat's foot into her mouth for her. Note to Kat: End conversation on high note. Also, like I said before, Good Hope is a major metropolitan hospital. Antimony grew up wandering around all over the place in there. There would have been lots of people of all types going through the grieving process, but also the recovering and visiting process. She would have had a chance to people-watch many types of significant-others. So in addition to the guides and ghosts... "I see... gay people..." So unless something happened to make her that way or she was educated/indoctrinated with the prejudice (not likely since Surma and Anthony were schooled in GC) then I don't think it is very likely that Antimony is homophobic. |
