Liking the IRC channel idea, as I said in the relevant thread. As for this thing, it's only the "spawn" area that's messed up, go out 50 or so and it's clear. Using the minecraft server analogy again, there's a reason people build their bases hundreds, if not thousands, of blocks away from spawn. Only problem is the world of text doesn't have /tp commands  But might it be possible to set the variables via javascript or something? A bookmarklet to do that would be cool. |

I think for now we should just wipe and either make a new server, or find new coords to center on, both to be distributed by PM.
Of those two I favor the former.

Done. I've put quite a bit of work into the landing, PMs are going out to Gotolei and GKSierra. To get in, there'll be an anonymous vote on the server - 2/3s consensus will ratify the proposed participant.
PM one of us three to get in.
EDIT: looks like Gotolei also made one. TIME FOR A BATTLE OF THE MYSTERIOUS SERVERS

I'm pretty much fine with either of the two..zimmyhoo's is already pretty well put-together but then again it might be cool to see the thing grow spontaneously ("naturally?") like the first one did? I dunno.

Ok so we have a system worked out for this. It's essentially whitelisted now, with the link shared only via PM. PM either GK Sierra, zimmyhoo or me and we'll add your name to the queue. Names are voted on before being approved. |

Sorry about the lag on the new map guys. I will start work on the forest soon as my to-do list shrinks from a scroll to a pamphlet.
edit: There is also some stuff that you can do (if you want), and that is adding trees and texture to the water.

 Finally got around to finishing the map. Cut and paste job is slightly wonky in some areas, as is the faux-3D on some buildings and none on others, but overall I like how it came out. Thanks for everybody who helped put it together. Also, Polioman wants to be let into the new WoT server. I put him up on the voting board. |
