Come on, give the new guy a chance. He hasn't even registered a whole week ago. He might behave when the story shifts away from KatPaz.
That being said, if this goes on I too slowly begin to feel the urge to invoke rule#1.

Things are relatively angst/drama free here. Let's keep it that way. Indeed. This forum is the most lovely corner of the whole internet. Let's keep it that way.

There is no love lost between Tom and 4chan, let us put it that way. If you want to get rid of the wordfilter just wedge one of the letters between a set of [ noparse][ /noparse] tags. BWAHAHAHA! My master plan to scare everybody off the forums is working! Intelligence is my alter ego! BWAHAHAHA (Oh crap did I say that out loud?)If true I rate it 3/10, trolling in poor taste. Things are relatively angst/drama free here. Let's keep it that way. Kidding! Kidding. Honestly, I'd rate that as a 1/10. Also, something about your post is making it impossible for me to properly quote it; something about your parse noparse bit, maybe? I'm not good at bulletin board code. Ha! Got it! There was an extra set of [ noparse] [ /noparse] code, which was forcing a [ /quote] to appear (I think?).

If you really want to bbcode-ninja around, you can stick a quick switch of [b][/b] or similar and that'll interrupt the parsing. It gets confusing pretty quickly though, and I'm not sure if it quotes properly. (Not that quotes really work in Proboards anyway, it took me a full minute to fix the one in this post and I'm still not sure that it's right..)-- [personal opinion incoming] Re: rule #1 talk: I'm kinda new here, but on another forum I'm active on (and mod) people having opinions isn't really much of a problem. If they're loud and stubborn about it, ok that's kind of annoying and should be toned down after a while. But personally what annoys me the most is when people actively try to shut down another's opinions, just because they don't match everyone else's.. Relevant. However I might eventually feel different about it in the next week or so, depending on how long Tom has this arc last and if the behavior continues Edit: how fitting that I break the 'senior member' barrier on this post =P laughing on line

Out of curiosity, did you just remove a bit that went [ noparse][ /quote][ /noparse]? That's what I did. I mostly was just kind of excited that I'd finally figured it out; I'm computer-savvy, but not anywhere near a programmer or coder; it was the first time I've ever effectively manipulated code. Sort of a "BWAHAHAHA, I HACKED THE INTERNET!" Sort of moment. Wildly out of proportion to the actual success, of course, but still very satisfying.

What does the [ noparse] command actually do?

BWAHAHAHA (Oh crap did I say that out loud?)Y'know, I'm kind of disappointed; right after I posted this, I realize I'd left myself open to a HILARIOUS insult, but nobody grabbed it. Something to the effect of "Well, if intelligence is your alter ego, that explains where all the intelligence lacking in your NORMAL posts is going!" Oh, well. Also, am I posting too much? I'm a little bit new, so if I start talking more than internet etiquette deems proper, someone please tell me to pipe down, ok?

Usually [noparse ] (or [nobbc] in smf and I think phpBB) tell it to not parse bbcode in general, so it'll ignore quote tags, formatting, smilies etc and display them as plain text (or inherited formatting I guess) The b thing is kinda a different, quick-and-dirty, one-time-use version of that

I was hoping the robots might be smarter than that.. Or are deely boppers really that deceiving? Also, looks like Kat gets special clearance with Doorbot but before 646 only robots were allowed in the room. And Annie is clearly not a robot. Therefore they are obviously different.

Ha! Got it! There was an extra set of [ noparse] [ /noparse] code, which was forcing a [ /quote] to appear (I think?). Yup. Had to put another set of noparse tags around the example noparse tags in the middle so they would show up someone please tell me to pipe down, ok? PIPE DOWNJK, bandwidth costs fractions of a penny. Paragraph-sized walls of wild speculation text are actually encouraged.

Please, for the love of God, stop posting on this thread. No disrespect intended, but no one is going to convince anyone else of anything (we've proven that already) and all of the points that can be made have been made. For reference, view Rule 1. Just for clarification... In this context, are you a moderator or loving God? I really don't see how I'm being a jerk. You know that typical shippers are early teens who watched too much disney and suchlike junk, right? When you express your dislike toward their little fetishes, you make poor children cry. Homestuck has lesbians? I'm starting on it tonight. Good luck, see you in a few months Homestuck? Indeed. Alas, the aquamarine dude, we hardly knew ye... BWAHAHAHA! My master plan to scare everybody off the forums is working! Intelligence is my alter ego! BWAHAHAHA Oh, please. You already have blown your cover. If I remember correctly, your real evil plan was to increase usage of the word "sewer" on this board. Wait. I did it again... Is he you after that brain bleach? Kind of plausible. No, they sells brain bleach. It's this, how they call it... ah, provocative marketing. Totally not a pyramide. Hard to starboard!!! What the hell was that? Looks like a drilling platform for the shipper lane? Load the aft tubes. Periscope depth!

I guess people were impersonating him in the comic's comment section? Not exactly surprising with a name like that, it's almost novelty account material Personally I wouldn't really care, since it's wiped clean three times a week, but to each their own.

Wait. Is it too late to dare him to take a shot of single malt every time a main character dies, when he tries this archive binge? Even if he only considers there to be four... That would get someone very drunk very fast.I think earth is technically destroyed at the beginning. The earth does get destroyed (at least it appears so) but unless you want to get into the backstory and alternate timelines none of the *main* characters die until a fair ways in, I think. So the spazblinking and lesbian-drought would wear on his mind for a long time before his bottle of single-malt got opened. And then when he does get to the girls dating each other feeding each other cake it should have taken him several days to get there so his mind should be nice and ready to crack by that point. I know there have been some efforts but we really do need to do a proper and lengthy Homestuck/GC fan crossover. And I suppose when I say "we" I mean "I." And when I say "proper" I mean "completely bat-country improper." I just need to find some time and some working brain cells.

Because the channel is always terrible, but most of the movies were practically everyone's childhood. Let's not speak for everyone. I realize it may be one of consequences, though. But on the subject... My childhood was mostly wasted playing around Nuclear Physics Research Institute, including its junkyard, rather than this. I still think it's much healthier. so his mind should be nice and ready to crack by that point. Yup. proper and lengthy Homestuck/GC fan crossover. <...> And when I say "proper" I mean "completely bat-country improper." I think both "lengthy" and "bat" kind of follow from "proper Homestuck/GC fan crossover" part here. I just need to find some time and some working brain cells. I dunno, those that fell to spazgif booby-traps may be merely stunned. Try to poke them a little.
