Back on the actual topic of this post: my bet is Annie being behind the door in Rey's room.

She never stated she did like Paz. She shared a passionate kiss with Paz just a few pages ago, and before that, she going out of her way to impress Paz...I don' quite see your point She never outright stated it. Impressing Paz was testing her, as for the kiss, Boxbot.

Psst, Kat...
You saw Annie turn around and head off in another direction...
... did you go look for her there?

I'm guessing Annie went on the train and who knows where she is now. a) forest b) behind the door c) some out-of-the-blue thing only Tom could come up with d) cat /dev/urandom

Yes Kat I did. She ran off to the forest because something unexpected happened. right now she is crying in Ysgrin shoulder. He is surprisingly adept at handling issues dealing with homosexuality. Coyote appears, giving Ysgrin a suspiciously warm nuzzle You know, that would be the most messed up relationship in the history of relationships; I don't care what gender!

It kinda already is, even without erotic overtones.

Impressing Paz was testing her, as for the kiss, Boxbot. People don't often outright say "hey I feel ______ about you". People show how they feel about others with actions, more so when it is involves romance. If you need people to outright say when they like/are attracted to someone, you might not be great at understanding emotional cues/body language/implications/two girls making out.

You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

We probably shouldn't feed the trolls.... But today's page! I am loving the Kat journey down memory lane, looking at all the familiar landmarks. Still, one would think that the first place to start would be the dorm room they share. She could ask Rey or Lindsey, either one would have a good chance of knowing if Annie is around.

If you need people to outright say when they like/are attracted to someone, you might not be great at understanding emotional cues/body language/implications/two girls making out. How about already the earlier encounters between these two. The "damn, girl, you even look in a mirror?!" -period, where Kat without a request went to comfort Paz. That very much says "I like you, Paz." Then there was the one where Kat had that wounded bird... which chapter was it again. That was another point of affection between them before they started dating. You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry! And may I tell you why it makes you angry? Because it is utterly stupid. Telling that you feel something and feeling something are two completely distinct things, and what people feel seldom coincides with what they say they feel.

She also did not actually seem to like Aly, so much as she tolerated him for Kats sake. Annie was clumsily courteous about it in the library, then encouraged Kat, and eventually pushed her into Aly's room. Yeah, but only after a day of watching her friend become more and more miserable. Just because she was helping Kat does not mean she liked that the two were in a relationship just that she wanted Kat to be happy. Of course. And?.. There's still nothing to show that Annie ever disliked Aly, or got problems with seeing Kat in a relationship with anyone. Nor any reason why Annie would treat one of Kat's relationships with someone against whom she doesn't have anything differetly from any other such relationship. Between all those inter-species families and winking mentions of attractive elves. I think she will drop "beaks and feathers" jokes now (unless there will be pretext to say something about "giving Paz wings"), but that's about it. Using Aly as proof that Annie isn't in love with Kat And, uh, someone does this? don't make since anyway, cause Kat, the one who was all for Aly, and boy's in general, is macking with a girl. This doesn't make sense for me. I said it was messy. I've noticed here and in other threads you've been getting awfully combative. Seriously, relax dude. Why you are upset over this? Even if Intelligence wants to be a little belligerent over something, is it such a big deal?

Just suggesting a few deep breaths might be in order if you're getting that worked up over shipping on the internet. All very Serious Business (TM), dontcha know.

Dude, I sent you a personal message out of concern because I was pretty sure you weren't intending to come across as ridiculous as you were, and you seem fairly new to the internet in general. I literally felt embarrassed for you and wanted to offer advice. I know it's difficult to convey tone via text, but you are taking me a lot more seriously than I ever intend to be taken. Also this is really derailing the thread to ridiculous levels.

You keep on keepin' on. These threads keep derailing faster and faster. Clearly this is what happens when we get pages with minimal dialogue.

I concur. There is a whole lot of silly in this thread right now. And I have a feeling that the inability to put tone into text is adding to the silly.
Lets get back to more and more farfetched predictions of Annie's whereabouts.

When the door to the bridge first appeared it didn't have a bismuth symbol. Nice to see the art changes since then.
