Hey, I actually got through to this page before it reached more than one page!
Kat... You should really remember your best friend.

Aww, Kat's goofy smile is priceless. If Annie was worried that Paz will be Kat's first priority then she's right. I hope that they'll talk things out and stay friends by the end of this chapter.

A good illustration of the dementing effect of this thing called love: just say no boys and girls!! Love the little robot; it's details like that. Musical suggestion.

From the first panel, I get the impression that it's an overcast day with just a little bit of sun peeking through. And Kat's in such a great mood that even this weather looks beautiful in her mind.

I don't really get the first 3 panels. It's the view outside the doors of the warehouse and reflects Kat's current mood. yeah, I figured it must be something like that. I just couldn't see why so would be so out of it, I mean yeah I know she kissed, but come on, that doesn't leave you like that. and I guess it's also kinda weirdly portayed, especially since you would expect that that's the view Kat sees, but that's not the case as she's staring at a wall.

I am rather interested in the first few panels. It looks to me like the sun coming up, the morning birds singing. Which implies Kat stayed out all night and this is the next day. If Kat was out all night, was Paz too?
I am not really trying to go there, but that seems to be what Tom is saying. My thoughts that contradict this: Paz had previously said she had to get back to take care of the animals (right before the first kiss). So I suspect that in fact she did go back to her Veterinarian job, but only after some good smoochies. Kat is the one who stayed behind, cleaning up the gigantic mess in the lab all night. In a daze with a big happy grin.
And of course I could be totally off base here and this is just later in the same day and the birds are singing with happiness for Kat & Paz (like the rest of us)!

It's the view outside the doors of the warehouse and reflects Kat's current mood. I mean yeah I know she kissed, but come on, that doesn't leave you like that. It does though. When you are kissed by someone you've been watching out of the corner of your eye for weeks/months but have been too scared to approach, and its also your FIRST kiss? I'm surprised the top of her head didn't blow clean off. What kind of first kiss would it be if it didn't make you a little weak in the knees? I just looked again to be sure, but it's an excellent representation of how I felt after the first few kisses ,at about that age That is sure how I felt/behaved after my first kiss! All addled by young luuuurrrrrvvv. I get a little nostalgic still when I think of it, over ten years later. And then your mind wanders over to your first breakup and you remember: oh yeah... t'wasn't all sunshine and rainbows... >lying next to your crush, staring at the band posters on her ceiling >items of clothing scattered about, all is bliss >suddenly she starts talking about how she thinks she's in love >begins describing this guy to you in minute detail "Uh, wait a minute... what about us?" >doesn't miss a beat "What about us?" "I dunno, I thought this made us kind of serious. Doesn't it?" "Oh Sierra, we're just friends though!" ... ... ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish my first kiss at that age was that adorable, instead of clunky and awkward.
Though about a year later my "boyfriend" and I both realized we were ridiculously gay so that probably explains that.

That was pretty funny. Kat just straight-up daydreamed? I still have my doubts about whether the Annie running away thing was a mirage or not..

I am both regretful and Jealous that I have never felt and probably never will feel like Kat does about the kiss with Paz. When it comes to my thoughts and feelings, I'm like Jones, Anthony and Annie. I think too much. And I don't believe in love at first sight. It's Lust and Infatuation at first sight. For me Love is more familiarity, and comes in different flavours and strengths. Wow, that is pretty gay... Was there some kind of colorful explosion of confetti? Congratulations, you are Ridiculously Gay! You forgot the Party Cannon you can't have ridiculously gay without a party. to clarify we are meaning the medieval definition correct?

What a coincidence: the girl who can lay claim to my first kiss wasn't her first (apparently), and later dumped me for a girl.

That is exactly what we are seeing in today's page for Kat. Also, I see speculation that "this was all a dream" and the Paz/Kat kiss never happened? I don't believe that because as far as I can recall, Tom has never done that in his story before. Yanking the collective chain and then saying something major didn't really occur. It would seem out of character for his writing style. Not to say he doesn't have an endless array of surprises up his sleeve. Mr. Siddell is anything but predictable. One of the many reasons I love this story.

There was that chapter where the cast went into Zim City and two things happened simultaneously, in between two panels on the same page: (1) Zimmy thought she was Annie (and that Annie was Zimmy). (2) The viewpoint switched from Annie's correct perspective to Zimmy's warped one. Except in that case, Tom had one of the characters state exactly what was happening on the very next page. Readers just didn't believe it because it was so outlandish.
