This sounds like a good idea, as far as I can see. Someone would then just submit the money to his donations page? Right, yeah (unless there's a more direct way of funneling him the money from the campaign, but I think we'd need his bank info, hah!). And if I were to spearhead it, I would post copious amounts of screenshots showing bank statements and paypal receipts once completed. I mean... I know that we could just tell people to donate to his paypal button, but there's something about seeing the number tick up on those websites and having an end goal to reach (and surpass) that gets people involved. |

I hope that he managed to actually buy the place, and be free of meddling landlords for the rest of his life. Ofcourse then he's going to be under the thumb of meddling banks for the rest of his life, but at least he'll be paying for his own property, not someone else's.
