10 Oct 2013 | 7:41 AM ...too late.  Not to start this debate again, but how did you all think those three images matched up to Coyote's descriptions? I think the image of Coyote as a troll is as true as the image of a troll as Coyote.  But with Coyote's theory of Etheric critters, "others see him" can be interpreted as the cause and not an effect - then we'll have the images in the same order as listed. Instead of the opposite as we could suspect otherwise. Amusing, isn't it? We can all agree that Coyote meant the middle one to be how he sees himself, though: as weak and inferior underneath the bluster/tree. However, that has changed a bit, judging from recent panels. |

Regarding Gunnerkrigg... I was pretty much happy for this whole warm and happy part, until daedalus made me wake up to reality and await for things to go downhill. Being realistic is a terribly depressive thing, even in a fantasy world.  Never have I been so wrong. Nor so glad to be wrong. Unless the bonus page is sad. And...I've done it again. |

Regarding Gunnerkrigg... I was pretty much happy for this whole warm and happy part, until daedalus made me wake up to reality and await for things to go downhill. Being realistic is a terribly depressive thing, even in a fantasy world. Never have I been so wrong. Nor so glad to be wrong. Unless the bonus page is sad. And...I've done it again. It's about Paz and Kat's breakup. It was short-lived. It's painful to acknowledge tragedy, and even moreso when anticipating it. But the best we could do is to brace for them, whatever that may be. That way, if it happens, it will not shock or hurt too much, and would be of absolute pleasure if it didn't. |

Relooking at this page, it may be my favorite in recent Gunnerkrigg history. I am drowning in the feels.
Also, Annie somehow really looks like Hetty in the second panel.
