The robots all fall for Kat, but she's thinking: "why is it never a nice bird fellow?"
Understandable.

I know Nnelg is going to hate this, but I think Paz asked Bobby to help write the letter, despite my earlier objections that Paz was too cool when she saw Kat to have
Bobby hasn't said anywhere the letter is from him, just that he wrote it and Paz has the pose of standing really awkwardly like she's about to spill the beans..
Why would she tell Bobby Kat moved quarters anyway? Especially when it just happened? It's like Paz raced back to tell Bobby of the scandalous news or something
Also, a lack of mouth on Paz I think is supposed to be a passive "no emotion" face and why has Paz abandoned cleaning the cages and is just standing to the side? She may have been peeking or something though...

Well, the shortness of the conversation between Kat and Bobby certainly leaves the issue wide open for speculation! At least until Wednesday.

Bobby never said it was from him, that doesn't seem like it was by accident... and Kat's last line is just leaving it wide open for an awkward response from Paz on Wednesday...

Poor Kat: all the time it's robots you are giving her, when it's birds that she is wanting! (Slight variation of a line from 'The Owl Service')

Poor Kat: all the time it's robots you are giving her, when it's birds that she is wanting! (Slight variation of a line from 'The Owl Service') The one by Alan Garner? I keep meaning to read it (I've read his other children's fantasies, "The Weirdstone of Brisingamen", "The Moon of Gomrath", and "Elidor"), and thanks for reminding me that I should get around to it.

I'm not even really any kind of a shipper, and even my "plot sense" is tingling here. This situation is currently FAR too simple and straightforward. Something has to happen.
It turning out that Paz wrote it would certainly be a "something."

Sometimes life is simple and straightforward, even in a court full of magical monsters and freaky fairies and ridiculous robots. This page shows off Kat's outfit well, which I really really like. Not many people can pull off that obnoxiously bright shade of orange.

I know nothing implies it wasn't a robot who made that sign, but it hardly proves robots can lie. : P

Seriously Kat? You were just going to walk away without exchanging more than barest courtesies with Paz? Those two really need to have a real conversation of some sort by now. Ships and awkwardness be damned, it's not nice to just ignore a friend standing right there.

- Toooom, there is a dead fan in your website! - Oh, hey, how did he get here? - Toooom, what did you do?! - Me?! I didn't do this! - Explain what happened, Tom! - I've never seen him before in my life! - Why did you kill this person, Tom?! - I don't like killing fans, that's my least favourite thing to do! - Tell me, Tom, exactly what you were doing before I came home. - Well, I was upstairs... - Okay... - I was sitting in my room... - Yes... - Drawing comics... - Go on... - And, oh, well, this fan appeared online... - Okay... - So I drew a long chapter with Paz, Kat and Bobby, Kat figuring out who wrote her love letter, and started posting it with usual speed! - ...Toooom, that kills fans! - Oh, oh, well, I didn't know that!

Please. What dead fans? Gunnerkrigg Court fans who survived through their first two month of cliffhangers on every single page are adapted to this mind-wrenchingly slow teasing. Or maybe we're just a weird sort of masochists, it's sometimes hard to tell.

Sooo Bobby wrote the letter after being persuaded by Paz to do so. Not sure if he actually has romantic feelings for her or not. Paz "somehow" got the idea while talking to Lindsey, the plan was to use the letter as a Catalyst to get Kat to open up and talk about her insecurities and possibly for Bobby to get his bottled up emotions out. Meanwhile Lindsey's sitting in her tank laughing manically, chanting "DANCE, DANCE my puppets!"
Ok, I'm kinda getting desperate to keep the Lindsey-as-the-ultimate-source-of-the-letter theory valid.

Kat, don't be so cold. You'll end up ice-solated... Paz does seem like she has something to say, but it may have nothing to do with writing the letter. Perhaps, it will be a remark on the state of robots, or Kat's and Paz's own insecurities.

Or maybe we're just a weird sort of masochists, it's sometimes hard to tell. "Mind-wrenchingly slow?" This is one of the fastest updating comics out there. You should try reading Order of the Stick or Goblins. They update on "Whenever I feel like it" and "Two per week except for all the times when it's only once a week" respectively.
