Jones is goddess who has possessed a robot, or taken a robot form as her latest avatar.

Jones is a techno-shamanistic golem. Jones is an escaped self-insert from a piece of fiction in the Gunnerverse. I'm so torn between these two. That is to say, I would be torn if it weren't common knowledge that Jones is a ghost in a super-polymer body. Also: on the topic of Jones' and Rey's camaraderie, which may or may not be relevant* to her actions here. *It can be hard to tell with Jones.

A while ago, back before we knew who Brinnie was, Tom said that she's not related to Gamma in any way. Oh, geez, that's helpful. I mean it, thanks. Now that you've linked it, I recall having read that at some point before, but apparently my assumption retroactively erased everything that would disagree with it? ...That makes it a very impressive assumption, you know. It'll be so hard to let it go. -sigh-

All humans are related. Therefore, one or the other is nonhuman, at least in the sense of being related to a common ancestor. Clearly, Tom meant that Gamma was a space alien planted on Earth to observe our plans. Actually, we definitely know that Brinnie is not exactly human. (She's a Valkyrie, right out of Norse mythology. Not straight out, as I don't remember any tales of Valkyries being twelve years old. Except maybe somewhere in here.) We still don't know what Jones is.
