Seems like things have gone relatively well since the cruise, then.
Next side comic confirmed for Paz in Spain?

Daedalus should be happy to see this page.
Other than that, I think the majority of the forumgoers have summed it up: not much to say.

We may be returning to our traditional three musketeer configuration for the upcoming 'summer'. I anticipate the plot revelations and shenanigans that we shall see!
That being said, I hope she visits Coyote before or during that time. He might clear some stuff up (sort of), plus his antics are hilarious.

Have we seen Annie in jeans before now? I think this is the first time she's actually worn trousers... closestI can remember seeing her in is her Spacemonaut suit.

I must admit I am confused by Kat's logic here. "Here in my workshop I have been distracted, but soon I am going on a far away holiday trip with my source of distraction, and then I will be more productive"...?

"Here in my workshop I have been distracted, but soon I am going on a far away holiday trip with my source of distraction, and then I will be more productive"...? That's how I read it at first, but it makes more sense if it's read like "While Paz is gone I won't be as distracted." Still doesn't mean much, though

Kat blamed herself for a different reason than I'd imagined; I was expecting it to be "This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't embarked on that project", but instead it's "If I hadn't been so distracted by my relationship with Paz, the Seraphs wouldn't have become impatient".

Does this mean the terrorists, I mean Seraphs, won? Sacrificing the Ship and getting banished may seem like small prices to pay for the advancement of the RoboGoddess.
If Kat thinks Paz was distracting while she was there, then Kat is going to find out how more distracting Paz's absence can be.

Just what I was wondering (PS: I think the scene has moved back to the Year 9 Dorm.)

Just what I was wondering (PS: I think the scene has moved back to the Year 9 Dorm.) I was thinking that it was kat's cabin on the ship and that she had move all her stuff on it (or the robots did) but yes that it is their room on the dorm make a lot more sens.

Hands on hips is hardly the Surma pose. I do that all the time. I don't think Kat is happy that Paz is gone, but rather since Paz is going to be gone, she is happy to have something to do and be able to focus on her work. Im sure she would rather have Paz around AND be able to do her work.

They both look so cute, with Annie's pink shirt and Kat's matching the room.
Don't like how Kat sees this whole incident. Trying to speed up your work does not justify dragging everyone else in it. I want to know how Paz feels about Kat's work now that she sees the negative actions the robots can take.

I don't think Kat feels the robots were justified so much as I think it's something that's been bugging Kat a while. She's noticed that she's been working less with Paz around, and she feels guilty about it, but she's been enjoying herself so much that she's been ignoring that fact. And so the way she's interpreting this incident is as a wake-up call. The NRE stage of her relationship with Paz has run its course, and it's time to get back to work. I love how Kat's shirt almost looks like it says "SUPER GAY" and I'm definitely going to continue to interpret it that way.

"Here in my workshop I have been distracted, but soon I am going on a far away holiday trip with my source of distraction, and then I will be more productive"...? To Paraphrase an obscure line from Clue: "But with Paz in Spain this summer, I should be able to focus" "She's going with Paz to Spain to focus??" "...I think what she meant was, 'This summer I should, while Paz is away in Spain, be able to focus"

I wondered if "Super 9V" on Kat's t-shirt was a reference to an obscure band. Tom said that references to obscure bands are almost a prerequisite among webcomic authors and his most blatant obscure references have been through Kat. I applied some google-fu, but I didn't find any band going by that name. I did find... - Nintendo WarioWare video games have a character named 9-Volt ( www.mariowiki.com/9-Volt ) and a pair of character named Kat and Ana ( www.mariowiki.com/Kat_and_Ana ). Kat has provided references to other games such as Space Channel 5 and the not-at-all-obsucre Metal Gear Solid. - I also noticed that Energizer produces the Eveready Super Heavy Duty 9V battery, and the Eveready logo has a black cat jumping through the number 9 on top of a a red oval. This one is a bit of a stretch, but a simple reference to a simple 9V battery sort of fits Kat's character. - And finally, "Super 9V" may still be a band reference, just one that defeated my limited google-fu abilities.

Does this mean the terrorists, I mean Seraphs, won? Sacrificing the Ship and getting banished may seem like small prices to pay for the advancement of the RoboGoddess. I think that depends on whether Kat's project was a good idea all along or not. It does seem to have moved away from its original purpose - supplying Robot with a new body - into doing it for its own sake, for the challenge. I don't know how to judge that - though at least Kat didn't intend any harm to come from it (and the problem does seem to have been not that Kat was carrying out the project, but that the Seraphs didn't comprehend that what they were doing was wrong). Kat's blaming herself does remind me of a speculation that I'd had, though, of Lindsey turning in her resignation and leaving the Court for some remote corner of the ocean, arguing that this way she can make certain that the cruise ship's replacement won't develop a similar infatuation for her that could lead to more trouble.

Super 9V. I feel so dumb for thinking it said "Super gay"... (It would've needed to be a weird, small A to make it fit, but yeah)

Or it could be a Y as well. "Super 9Y" Still can't find any references though... Maybe Tom has started, or is in, a band named "Super 9V" and he is subtly plugging his own obscure band. Given Tom and a name like "Super 9V", I am guessing the band probably plays folk music.
