I was actually waiting for someone to make the thread, then decided to go and make it, you beat me to it though.
Anyways, gotta love dealing with beuruacracy right?
I bet it'll be the EXACT SAME GUY in final records. I wonder if he is like an etheric databank or computer or something. He is also obviously screwing with them by sending them to special cases and then final records.

i'm actually wondering, is it the same room and guy or is kat just seeing a cookie cutter image? like her brain interprets all the file clerk beings with the same image...? some people have commented that maybe kat's seeing less details and etheric clutter than annie and mort, which helped her notice the guy right away, but at the same time maybe that lack of detail is making different things indistinguishable to her?

There probably won't be bapping, but she'll definetly say something along the lines of "NO!, I want answers RIGHT HERE, and RIGHT NOW." If they get passed along to some room further on, though I don't see how much further they could go after final records. |

It almost seems like the second guy is a bit older than the first. now that you mention it, the second(?) guy has more dirt or lines or whatever on his face. also he's less sneer-y (that's actually what made me think it was a different guy; he wasn't antagonistic) ((also annie and mort sharing concerned looks like kat's gone off the deep end)) |

Anyone else notice that this guy's shadow has eyes? I'm getting a feeling that he's just a puppet or a reflection of the real creature controlling the archives and the shadow is his true self. So what Kat sees isn't real, either...

I was pretty much thinking along the lines of that. Although 'mere parts of a larger entity' can also apply to a beruacracy. Also, I'm REALLY wondering what they would normally find in the ROTD library as there are no physical books. I can easily see the books being in etheric form and the guy in the corner is the access point. |
