As I read the comments on the comic page, I start to facepalm at people who keep wondering who the guy is. She just said his name. /facepalm. It's an ongoing self-depreciating joke of Tom's that he says "The guy in this page is Eglamore. I am bad at drawing him." or something along those lines. He hasn't done it very recently, but it's an inside joke of the comic. These people are making that joke.

How about Miss Jones and Wandering Eye are not the one and the same. Sure, Miss Jones is "what the Wandering Eye calls itself (him-/herself) now", but it is the Wandering Eye that was there in the beginning, whereas it has since the friend picture time been clear that Miss Jones has been a kid not so long ago, and thus she was not there when the Court was founded. Which means that Miss Jones is not the same as the Wandering Eye.
She can be a reincarnation, like Dalai Lama. Wandering Eye can be a spirit passing on, from generation to another. Something like that. And it is the Wandering Eye that is the impartial observer, while Miss Jones is just a woman who used to be a girl who found out that she is the Wandering Eye. Yes, of course, being the Wandering Eye means she is kind of special in many ways, but meanwhile that young girl called Jones was still just a young girl like others, and desperately in love with her hunky class mate.

You mean Brinnie, the valkyrie? Guess that would be short for Brynhild Oh yeah! That's her name. Hehe, thanks. But what I meant when I asked "I still want to figure out who the light-brown/golden-haired girl is," is that I want to know what's her deal in the storyline. Like, this character is in the webcomic, but I wonder what her purpose is. Is she going to be more addressed later on? Is she just a minor character? We haven't learned much about her.

Weeaboo > not knowing that it's mister Eglamore is a running gag/meme around here.

Today's strip definitely brought down the idea that Jones would have been a kid once - and my theory of her reincarnation in general. Meanwhile, it makes the relation between her and James look quite weird.
I certainly wanted to post the theory of reincarnation (in previous thread) before it would be revealed true/false, but have to say, that this solution makes James' earlier comments look pretty weird. After the group picture, when he said he'd hope Jones could have been there with them. If Jones was their teacher, or I don't know what? And the reason why she didn't pose with them was only that Surma hated her? Any kind of, biological or not, maternal relation between Jones and Jimmy makes that scene just more weird.

I'm starting to get the idea that Jones just does whatever she feels the people she's working with needs most. She's acting in a teacher role similar to Anja was when Antimony was alone, pushing people together. In the previous strip, when Eglamore was feeling rejected, she began acting as a replacement love interest when Eglamore felt he needed that kind of love most. Perhaps she only acted that way until Eglamore was emotionally over Surma enough to move on, and they broke it off.
So that's what Jones is, just a tool.

There, there, James. Now why don't I just remove this nasty little memory? Please somebody do this in the "I saw an opportunity".

Weeaboo > not knowing that it's mister Eglamore is a running gag/meme around here. Can you blame me for only entering and starting to read the comic around the start of chapter 38 :?

I wasn't aware that explaining something to someone was equivalent to blaming them. I'll try to keep that in mind.

haha I think the misunderstanding here stems from wording. Weeaboo - "not knowing" in this phrase surely referred not to you, but to audience not knowing about mister Eglamore

Methinks it's time for you to read the whole comic, Weeaboo.

Methinks it's time for you to read the whole comic, Weeaboo. Yeah, generally people do an archive binge from front to back when they first start.

Interesting, however considering we go from years ago to weeks ago and they're still together it would seem to disprove your theory.
