Pretending to be left-handed, like any decent swordswoman.

Pretending to be left-handed, like any decent swordswoman. You are my new favorite person.

And it looks like we'll be seeing ol' white legs again! Not necessarily. Judging from the treatises so far, they appear to be summaries of the chapters preceding them, rather than predictions of future chapters. You.. you mean we can't make hilariously inaccurate guesses based off little information? But.. but..

^I looked up "treatise" on the Formspring search, and I think Tom said that the treatises show the past AND foreshadow the future, so guess away.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the Fourth Treatise is now available in print on Topatoco. Also, someone wanna explain where that space in "available" is coming from. Cause is sure ain't in the original text.

Cause is sure ain't in the original text. That's goofy... Its due to the topatoco link. I tried linking to the comic, and no spelling change. Then I changed the link back to the topatoco site and the space is back.

Forum software will often automatically add spaces to what it perceives as a super-long word, so some goofball can't cause the formatting to break by just mashing a letter. Looks like it isn't too smart, though - should be adding spaces AFTER parsing the tags out.
Edit: had an example, but it still broke the formatting a little, so I removed it.

The moon, Waxing Crescent? The first stage following a new moon, over the court.
The sun. I cannot decide, but I fins it interesting that the alchemical symbol for the sun is NOT used here.
The alchemical symbol for the Sun IS used in the centre image, in the winged circle.
Below the symbol for the sun, above bismuth, which is above another which eludes me.
Jeanne's sword and the Green Arrow are one and the same. The positioning tells me, that the heart below the heart and arrow is that of four people.
Jeanne. Run through by Diego, who killed the one she loved. Green arrow. Diego. Run through by Jeanne. The sword is symbolic. The one Jeanne loved, run through by the arrow. Parley, who's heart was threatened with the blade, and who's heart threatened Jeanne.
Reynard, of the Court, now has Mercury above the Symbol of Bismuth.
Notable is the vines from the forest wrapped around the arm of Annie, the same wrist that Coyote's band was on.
In turn, annies hair wraps around the arm of Kat.
Notably, Kat is not attached in a similar way to anything. Nor does she return the connection to Annie.
Annie is connected to Kat, but she is not connected back. (Aether?)
The White spider and the flaming part of Annies hair both reach towards the growth of the forest.
While the trees are Ysengrin's support, even so far as his physical legs, the Court is supporting Reynardine on it's roof.
Trees and buildings are the main vertical constructs of the forest and Court respectively.
The undergrowth and foundation of the forest is Coyote, and the real undergrowth, to which the layers connect.
For the court, the robots and technology (Cogs/Sprockets/computers) are the foundation.
The birds are paired, and a closed unit. They are circular and intertwined. They are carried, but not reaching for anything, nor attached to anything.
Never in a Treatise, have the court and forest been drawn directly opposing eachother at equal height. Nor has annie been depicted as truly closer to the forest than the court.
Now annie is firmly on the side of the forest, and Jeanne stands between her and Kat. Notmally nothing physically seperates them.
The seperation between forest and court is also hilighted with the colour pallates used in the foreground and the background.
Lastly, in all other treatise, Annie and Kat face in the same direction. Evne in the last Treatise, Annie looks towards the forest, but is moving towards the court. Now she faces away completely.
My observations. :3
